  • A strong track record of customer-facing engagement, including presenting to and negotiating with external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, engineered-to-order product development, and production scheduling in an industrial equipment environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and people-management skills, including experience developing program management talent.

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Operations Management, or equivalent professional experience.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Program Managers, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Establish and standardize program management methodologies, tools, and governance across the organization.
  • Own successful execution of strategic initiatives and customer programs, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.
  • Establish and maintain a portfolio-level view of active strategic programs, proactively identifying risks, resource constraints, and interdependencies.

  • Work with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to align program timelines with production capacity, material lead times, and logistics constraints.
  • Partner with Quality and Safety to ensure programs meet regulatory, code, and customer specification requirements throughout execution.
  • Represent the program management function in customer-facing engagements and build trust with key accounts.
  • Lead or support customer program reviews, kickoff meetings, and escalation discussions, translating technical and operational details into clear commercial communication.

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent program/project management certification.
  • Experience implementing or scaling a formal PMO function within a manufacturing organization.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes, including UL, IEEE, NEMA, and NEC, applicable to switchgear and switchboard manufacturing.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • IEM ran 2026 tours in Raleigh, Miami, Houston, Stoccolma, Belgrado, and London.
  • The American branch in Miami broadens access to U.S. buyers and media.
  • Confagricoltura and major consortia amplify distribution reach and validate IEM's event platform.

What critics are saying

  • Revenue depends on winery marketing budgets and consortia sponsorships, not recurring software.
  • If major Italian producers build in-house export teams, IEM becomes replaceable by 2027.
  • Trade-show attendance shocks in London, Hong Kong, or U.S. cities crush conversion rates.

What makes IEM unique

  • IEM owns Simply Italian Great Wines, a repeatable global wine-promotion tour in 2026.
  • Marina Nedic and Giancarlo Voglino bring 25 years and 500+ events.
  • IEM combines walkaround tastings, B2B meetings, seminars, and press access.
