New stuff alert: Hanna Andersson and Dusen Dusen, together again.

New stuff alert: Hanna Andersson and Dusen Dusen, together again. Oct. 21, 2026 For this week's "Don't Dillydally," Tafts has rounded up a range of newly released products Tafts is particularly excited about, including Zankov's collaboration with Banana Republic, Hanna Andersson's second collection with Dusen Dusen, and Madewell's collab with the New York Public Library. Banana Republic just released an exclusive collection with New York-based knitwear label Zankov, and I'm salivating over this striped cashmere sweater. The brand brought its signature vibrant prints and colors to a line of luxurious sweaters, scarves, socks, and more. In more stripe-y sweater news... Madewell's collab with the New York Public Library is for the book lovers, with academia-core polo sweaters, vintage-inspired hoodies, and cheeky baby tees. NYC's cultural institutions are booked and busy! The New York City Ballet has partnered with Mark & Graham to release a very giftable holiday collection inspired by Balanchine's The Nutcracker, including these adorable kids' PJs. Hanna Andersson just dropped its second collection with Dusen Dusen, and this one trades stripes for polka dots. Hanna Andersson rewards members can shop today; the general public will get access tomorrow. Clare V. and the Dogist have launched Maison du Chien, a collection of accessories and apparel for dogs and their owners. This color-blocked leather collar is sure to make Fido the most stylish pooch at the dog park. Studs' new Halloween collection is full of spooky-cute motifs like Magic 8 Balls, scorpions, bats, and, of course, a black kitty. Barefoot Dreams' latest collab with Frankies Bikinis has a distinctly "hunker down indoors" vibe. There are robes, shorts, tank tops, and lounge pants, all featuring Barefoot Dreams' signature fuzzy CozyChic fabric. Collina Strada is the latest brand to reimagine classic Keen silhouettes, giving this Targhee EXP boot a makeover with gothic florals and frilly rosettes. Burst has partnered with Magna-Tiles on a playful limited-edition oral-care set for kids that includes a sonic toothbrush, 16 microMAGS tiles, and a travel case. Not a collab I had on my bingo card, but I'm into it. This Glow Recipe set features two new tinted Glass Balm shades inspired by beloved Buldak sauce flavors: Original, a warm brick red, and Carbonara, a cherry-blossom pink. (You get a fun key chain with the set as well.) I'm a mochi fiend, so I was very excited to see that Olly recently introduced vitamin supplements that, instead of a gummy texture, have the soft, pillowy texture of mochi. There are four new formulas: Beauty, Sleep, Energy, and Multi for overall wellness. Its sleep writer Amelia Jerden loves her Cocoon blanket because it's incredibly soft. The brand just launched a new weighted version that comes in three sizes and nine colors. The Strategist is designed to surface useful, expert recommendations for things to buy across the vast e-commerce landscape. Every product is independently selected by its team of editors, whom you can read about here. Tafts update links when possible, but note that deals can expire and all prices are subject to change.

Clothing brand pulls 6,000 sweaters from shelves due to risk of death from fire.

Clothing brand pulls 6,000 sweaters from shelves due to risk of death from fire. Published July 18, 2026, 11:29 p.m. ET See more of our coverage in your search results. A major clothing brand has initiated a recall for approximately 6,000 women's sweaters due to a failure to meet federal flammability safety standards, causing risk of "serious burn injuries or death," according to a recent U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) notice. The safety recall impacts the Madewell Double V-Neck Pullover and V-Neck Cardigan styles, available in both light blue and cream colors. The CPSC says that "recalled sweaters violate the mandatory standard for clothing textiles, posing a risk of serious burn injuries or death." These items were sold at Madewell and T.J. Maxx stores, as well as through their respective websites, between December 2024 and October 2025. To determine if a garment is part of the recall, owners should check the internal labels. Affected sweaters feature a "Madewell" neck tag and a side seam label marked with style numbers NT611, NT612, or the code "HO24." Although no injuries have been reported to date, the company has documented one instance of a sweater catching fire. The CPSC advises consumers to immediately cease wearing the garments to avoid potential burn hazards. Madewell is providing full refunds to all affected customers. To claim a refund, you must cut the sweater in half, take a photo of the destroyed garment, and email it to [email protected] before disposal.

Recall issued by Madewell for women's sweaters due to fire risk.

Recall issued by Madewell for women's sweaters due to fire risk. By: Kelly Broderick Posted 8:22 AM, Jul 17, 2026 and last updated 10:48 AM, Jul 17, 2026 A recall has been issued by Madewell for two women's sweaters due to risk of serious injury or death from burn hazards. According to officials, the recalled sweaters violate the mandatory standard for clothing textiles. The recall involves two styles of Madewell-branded Double V-Neck Pullover and V-Neck Cardigan women's sweaters. The sweaters were sold with or without buttons in light blue and cream and in sizes XS through L. The sweaters have long sleeves and a V-neck. You can also see "Madewell" and the size are printed on the neck label and "Style #NT611" or "Style #NT612" and "HO24" on the sewn-in side seam label. These were sold at Madewell and T.J. Maxx stores nationwide and online at Madewell.com from December 2024 through October 2025 for between $138 and $148. If you purchased this product, you're urged to stop using it and contact Madewell for a full refund in the original form of payment or store credit. Consumers will be asked to destroy the sweaters by cutting them in half and send a photo of the destroyed sweater to [email protected]. Consumers should then dispose of the destroyed product. There has been one report of a sweater catching on fire.
