- Collaborate with the Installation Supervisor to plan and prioritize equipment installations based on vehicle specifications and department requirements.
- Follow technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to install and integrate equipment accurately while adhering to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment functionality, wiring, and connection issues, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Perform quality-control checks to verify the installation, alignment, and functionality of equipment against safety and operational standards.
- Maintain records of installed equipment, wiring diagrams, and configurations for future maintenance.
- Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to police vehicle equipment and upfitting techniques.
- Communicate with team members, supervisors, and law enforcement personnel to understand equipment requirements and provide technical support.
- Participate in training sessions and workshops to develop skills and stay updated on equipment and technology.
- Additional technical training or certifications in automotive technology, electronics, or related fields.

Dunes Point Capital, LP has acquired a majority interest in Eastern Communications, Ltd., a national distributor and service provider for public safety communication devices. The investment, supported by Dunes Point Capital Fund III, LP and co-investors like Partners Capital, positions Eastern for growth. Debt financing was provided by Audax Private Debt, TPG Twin Brook Capital Partners, and Manulife Investment Management.
