About the job
- A completed technical or business-related degree, such as industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related field.
- Several years of professional experience in international sales, bid management, or project business in plant engineering with a service focus.
- Enthusiasm for complex technical systems and processes.
- A strong understanding of commercial and contractual conditions in large-scale plant engineering.
- Substantial market knowledge in waste-to-energy, biomass, green technology, or the chemical industry.
- Excellent moderation, negotiation, and closing-oriented skills.
- Business-fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Build, maintain, and expand relationships with existing customers, new customers, and project partners.
- Develop and evaluate potential projects, including obtaining all relevant information for internal screening.
- Prepare budget proposals in cooperation with the costing team.
- Lead the technical and commercial proposal project from tendering through successful contract conclusion.
- Lead contract negotiations with customers and consortium partners together with the internal proposal team.
- Develop and implement a targeted marketing and sales strategy.
- Monitor the market and provide active feedback on technical trends, the competitive situation, and further development of the company’s solutions.
- Additional language skills are advantageous.

Etogas/HZI EtoGas designs and builds turnkey Power-to-Gas plants that convert surplus renewable electricity into storable gases such as green hydrogen and synthetic natural gas.
