With heavy traffic expected, Springfield Public Works said it monitors traffic after major openings like this and expects the initial increase to settle down over time. For now, the parking lot has been crowded with cars for both parking and the drive-through. Employees have been using signs to direct customers through the lot, guiding cars to designated parking areas and helping keep drive-through lanes moving to avoid overwhelming nearby businesses in the plaza. Outside the parking lot, Springfield Public Works is monitoring traffic around Harlow Road and Gateway Street and can make adjustments as needed. 00:00 03:32 KVAL - Raising Cane's opens first Lane County location, hiring about 190 workers.
