Veeva Systems provides cloud-based software that helps consumer goods and chemical companies manage quality, regulatory compliance, and advertising claims. The platform works by connecting different departments—from the supply chain to marketing—to provide a single source of data that tracks a product's journey and ensures it meets safety standards. Unlike competitors that offer general business tools, Veeva specializes in navigating the highly complex regulations originally found in the life sciences sector and applies that specific expertise to other regulated industries. The company's goal is to help businesses bring safe, sustainable, and compliant products to market faster by providing end-to-end visibility and traceability.

Eli Lilly adopts Veeva Vault CRM globally as Veeva eyes $4.7B revenue by 2029

Veeva Systems has secured a global deployment commitment for Vault CRM from Eli Lilly. The company also announced that President and Chief Customer Officer Thomas D. Schwenger will depart in October 2026, with Dan Rizzo succeeding him as EVP of Sales, Consulting, and Services. Wall Street analysts expect higher quarterly earnings and revenue for Veeva. The Eli Lilly deployment reinforces the trend of top pharmaceutical companies consolidating commercial workflows on Veeva's platform. Analysts project Veeva will reach $4.5 billion in revenue and $1.3 billion in earnings by 2029, requiring 12.7% annual revenue growth. However, investors should note the company's concentrated exposure to major CRM customers. AI agents in safety and clinical workflows remain a potential factor that could affect both forecasts and investor confidence.
