SmartConnect and Benepicks have partnered to integrate Medicare support into ICHRA platforms, addressing a gap that leaves employees aged 65 and older struggling with complex healthcare transitions. The collaboration embeds SmartConnect's "Medicare Intelligence Layer" into Benepicks' platform, providing Medicare-eligible employees with personalised consultations from licensed agents across all 50 states.
The partnership aims to simplify the transition process whilst reducing costs. Employees receive unbiased guidance on Medicare plans based on their doctors, prescriptions, and financial goals, using tax-free ICHRA allowances toward premiums. According to recent data, organisations using this approach average a 15% reduction in healthcare spending.
