  • Broad-based knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work acquired through hands-on training is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, installations, and repairs of equipment and building support systems necessary for plant and office operations.
  • Perform maintenance, repair, installation, fabrication, adjustment, troubleshooting, and related maintenance duties.
  • Communicate preventive maintenance checks.
  • Communicate departmental inventory control.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions and operating difficulties involving cranes and hoists, three-phase motors, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, heating and ventilation units, pumps, and exhaust fans.
  • Perform mechanical, electrical, and plumbing operations.
  • Perform start-up and shutdown functions on plant equipment and facilities.
  • Respond to emergency calls on a 24-hour basis.
  • Resolve identified safety issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain required departmental documentation.
  • Work safely in compliance with OSHA safety and Environmental Protection Agency regulations.
  • Adhere to quality-system procedures and work instructions.
  • Handle, label, contain, and dispose of hazardous waste in coordination with the Environmental, Health, and Safety Leader.
  • Perform other miscellaneous maintenance duties as directed by the Maintenance Manager.
Desired Qualifications
  • Fabrication experience or similar experience.
  • A technical degree with at least two years of work-related experience.
  • Knowledge of blueprints and schematics.
