Look up, I guess. Another 'The Agency' ***SPOILER ALERT*** @FBIDirectorKash. Martian's rogue activities to protect his lover, Samia, quickly put him on the radar of British intel (MI6/MI5). Richardson has been closely monitoring the Sudanese peace talks and keeping tabs on Samia's movements. Martian instantly agrees to the terms to save Samia, only to discover that Richardson was bluffing about his immediate ability to free her. Instead, Richardson uses the leverage to trap Martian, manipulating the compromised CIA agent into becoming his personal double agent and mole within London Station. In 2013, CIA Director John Brennan initially sought to appoint Gina Haspel as the Directorate of Operators position permanently, but she was not chosen after her past involvement overseeing a post-9/11 "black site" interrogation facility in Thailand drew intense political pushback from members of Congress. From 2014-2017, instead Haspel was assigned abroad to serve as the CIA's Chief of Station in London. She acted as the agency's primary representative to major U.S. allies - specifically working alongside British intelligence. Her operational focus centered heavily on European and Russian intelligence threats. From February 2017 - May 2018, she was the Deputy Director of the CIA, then the CIA Director until Biden was inaugurated. After retiring from the CIA, Haspel joined the law firm King & Spalding. Haspel leads the firm's specialized Risk Advisory Service, where she advises ultra-wealthy families, private equity firms, and global banks on non-legal institutional risks, including geopolitical exposure, cybersecurity, and regulatory issues. Before leaving office in December 2020, Haspel did eventually formalize a dedicated "Havana Syndrome" task force to re-examine early incidents, collect new data, and better coordinate care for affected officers. This bureaucratic step insulated her from claims of complete inaction. What happened, @Mpolymer @TheTeamHousePod @michaeldweiss @MarkSZaidEsq? Haspel herself was not the focus of Durham's criminal inquiry into Crossfire Hurricane. Instead, she was the gatekeeper. She explicitly stated that the CIA would cooperate with Durham's investigators, clearing the way for Durham to interview the specific CIA analysts. While she allowed the questioning of agency staff, she reportedly fought behind the scenes to ensure that cooperating with the DOJ did not inadvertently reveal highly sensitive intelligence-gathering methods, foreign agency alliances, or the identity of deep-cover sources. OH... Trump admin insiders like @FBIDirectorKash later alleged that Haspel was instrumental in blocking the full, unredacted public release of a highly sensitive, 10-inch-thick binder of raw intelligence regarding the Russia probe in the final days of the Trump presidency. Intel officials defended her stance, noting that pushing back against total declassification of those specific Crossfire Hurricane files was done strictly to protect classified tradecraft and human intelligence networks, rather than to cover up political misconduct. (There was misconduct alright, but there were reasons to keep quiet. The problem is if you fail to care for the people involved, which became an escalating issue...) Haspel absolutely knew what was inside the binder. The core of the binder contained raw, highly classified U.S. and NATO intelligence regarding Russia's 2016 election meddling - information so sensitive it was normally kept inside a safe within another safe at CIA headquarters. For months, Haspel and other top national security officials aggressively fought Donald Trump's efforts to declassify and publicly release the raw material. She argued fiercely that doing so would compromise deep-cover human assets and expose the intelligence community's most heavily guarded collection methods. In the chaotic final days of the Trump administration, a copy of the intelligence was transported from the CIA to the White House so Republican aides could manually redact it for release. It was during these final 48 hours - long after the CIA had lost physical custody of that specific copy - that the unredacted binder went missing from the West Wing. Because the binder vanished while under the care of White House staff (specifically linked in reports and court filings to then-Chief of Staff Mark Meadows and conservative journalist John @jsolomonReports), the physical tracking of the document moved entirely outside the jurisdiction of Haspel and the CIA. To date, the unredacted binder has never been recovered. FLOG, can someone finally interview me in a SCIF please?! @RepEricBurlison @POTUS @DepDNILukas @AGToddBlanche The last 6 years have been entirely unacceptable. Was Ghislaine Maxwell somehow the glue? She is British, after all and she grew up in Oxford. The code name "Oxferd Comma" (intentionally misspelled) refers to the highly sensitive, declassified FBI counterintelligence investigation launched in May 2017 to determine whether then-President Donald Trump was acting - knowingly or unknowingly - as an asset for the Russian government. The FBI opened the probe as a direct response to President Trump's firing of FBI Director James Comey in May 2017. It operated as a secret sub-component of Crossfire Hurricane (the broader FBI investigation into potential 2016 Trump campaign collusion with Russia). The "Oxferd Comma" case was ultimately folded into Special Counsel Robert Mueller's overarching Russia inquiry. The probe was formally closed on April 9, 2019, with a White House statement noting that the FBI found no actionable evidence supporting the theory that Trump was acting as a Russian asset. As I'm sure @GenFlynn understands, ANYONE - not just someone who has been in Moscow - can be affected by cognitive weapons. Rosslyn, Virginia was the location of multiple AHI 'incidents', including in late fall of 2013, 2015, and 2017 right after the @nytimes "UFO" article was published. thecapitoljournal.com/everything-abo... King & Spalding goes shopping for arbitration heavyweights.

King & Spalding goes shopping for arbitration heavyweights. King & Spalding is making a conspicuously expensive-looking play for global arbitration dominance. Its latest recruit is Thomas Voisin, former managing partner of Quinn Emanuel's Paris office, who joins after handling more than 100 commercial and investment arbitrations. Voisin becomes the ninth international disputes partner recruited in just three months. The real statement came earlier this summer when King & Spalding raided WilmerHale for an eight-partner disputes team spanning London, New York and Washington, led by arbitration heavyweight Gary Born. Paris now completes another piece of what increasingly resembles a deliberate attempt to assemble arbitration's Galácticos. The firm's media announcement is below - Paris partner becomes ninth International Arbitration partner to join in three months following addition of market-leading team from Wilmer Hale in London, New York and Washington D.C. PARIS, September 2, 2026 - King & Spalding announced today that Thomas Voisin, a leading practitioner in international arbitration, has joined the Paris office as the firm continues the strategic expansion of its International Disputes practice group. "Thomas is an outstanding lawyer whose addition further strengthens our market leading International Disputes practice and underscores our commitment to be the pre-eminent law firm globally for the most sophisticated, complex and high-stakes litigation and arbitration," said Robert Hays, chairman of King & Spalding. Voisin, who was most recently the Managing Partner of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan's Paris office, represents clients from Europe and internationally in complex commercial, construction and investment disputes, especially those governed by French law and other civil law systems. He has experience acting under major institutional rules including ICC, ICSID, LCIA and UNCITRAL, as well as in ad hoc proceedings. He has handled more than 100 arbitrations across a range of sectors, notably oil and gas, power, construction, transportation, mining and aviation, typically on contracts or projects in Europe and North Africa. "Thomas is a leading disputes lawyer with a French and civil law-centered practice, whose experience and market reputation complements our European and wider International Disputes practice," said Elizabeth Silbert, co-head of the firm's International Disputes Practice. "Thomas plays a major part in our ongoing expansion, given his strengths and the importance of Paris as a global arbitration and disputes hub. Having a leading partner like Thomas join our existing team in the city rounds out our recent addition of top-tier lawyers in London, New York and Washington D.C." Voisin's hire follows the firm's recruitment of a market-leading eight-partner international disputes team, led by prominent international arbitration partner Gary Born, from Wilmer Hale. The team spans the London, New York and Washington. D.C. offices and includes Charlie Caher, Steven Finizio, Rachael Kent, Marleen Krueger, Jonathan Lim, Danielle Morris and Franz Schwarz. Voisin holds an M.Jur. from the University of Oxford and undergraduate and post graduate degrees from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas, specializing in European law, litigation and arbitration. He is ranked by Chambers & Partners in international arbitration and in Legal 500 EMEA. "King & Spalding's trajectory, culture and reputation made this an easy decision. With the firm's existing line-up of leading arbitration and litigation lawyers and its exceptional recent additions, I am joining a practice positioned to be the leading force in international disputes, and I look forward to working alongside my new colleagues to achieve it," Voisin said. "The Paris office is home to top lawyers in disputes and transactional practices alike, and is an integral part of the firm's international network. There will be many opportunities for collaboration across offices and practices, and I'm eager to be part of it."
