Requirements
  • Minimum of 8–10 years in software engineering, including Lead/Staff-level work on event, streaming, or data-infrastructure systems.
  • Production experience with event streaming such as Kafka or equivalent, Python services and APIs such as FastAPI, and pipeline processing such as Spark/EMR or equivalent where needed.
  • Proficiency in designing, deploying, and operating systems on AWS, including S3, SQS/SNS, Lambda, RDS, and similar services.
  • Experience with the complete software development lifecycle, from design through production, monitoring, and on-call.
  • Fluency in Python or substantial experience in Scala and Java.
  • Skill with data stores used around event pipelines, such as Postgres/MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, or similar.
  • Experience with orchestrators such as Apache Airflow.
  • A track record of owning high-throughput pipelines in production, including incidents, performance and cost, observability, data quality, and service-level objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, including the ability to explain pipeline design and trade-offs to partners who consume ZMP event data.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and launch event-pipeline features in production.
  • Own architecture for the parts of the pipeline being led.
  • Evaluate existing or emerging technologies when they offer a clear cost, latency, or operational advantage, and implement those choices in production.
  • Engage in architectural discussions, take ownership of key pipeline projects, and define stable contracts with downstream consumers.
  • Mentor teammates through design reviews, code reviews, and pairing.
  • Help teammates ship through clear interfaces, solid tests, and production-ready patterns.
  • Partner with Product, Data, and ZMP consumer teams to turn service-level agreements involving latency, throughput, and correctness into working systems.
  • Instrument services, improve alerting, and personally own on-call gaps.
  • Drive post-incident fixes, including root-cause analysis, code, runbooks, and dashboards, and keep the pipeline predictable under load.

Zeta Global hires Intel and Synopsys veteran Trey Campbell as investor relations chief

Zeta Global has appointed Trey Campbell as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations, effective 27 July 2026. Campbell brings nearly three decades of technology finance and investor relations experience, including positions at Synopsys, Luminar Technologies, and 22 years at Intel, where he spent nine years in investor relations. In his new role, Campbell will lead Zeta's investor relations strategy and serve as liaison to the investment community. He will report to Chief Financial Officer Chris Greiner. Campbell replaces Matt Pfau, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis. Most recently, Campbell served as Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and FP&A at Synopsys.
