Brian Hanley named president of Applied Plastics. New hire most recently worked at Resonetics. August 13, 2026 Managing Editor Applied Plastics, has recruited Brian Hanley to join the company as president. CEO Tom Barrett will continue in his role through the end of the year and will work closely with Hanley during his transition into the business. "Brian brings the right experience to Applied Plastics," Barrett said. "He has spent more than two decades building and scaling medtech businesses, and he understands both the engineering and the commercial sides of this work. Resonetics, a manufacturing company, has secured $231 million in incremental credit facilities through an amendment to its First Lien Credit Agreement. The financing comprises $220 million in term loans and $10.6 million in revolving credit commitments. Cahill represented the lead arrangers in the transaction. The incremental facilities expand Resonetics' existing credit structure, providing additional liquidity for the company's operations.
Arcline Investment Management has agreed to sell Resolution Medical, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of medical devices and components, to Resonetics. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2012, Resolution Medical produces devices for medical technology end markets including structural heart, cardiology and vascular, electrophysiology and neuromodulation therapies. The Fridley-based company specialises in manufacturing medical devices and components for these sectors.
