About the job

Requirements
  • Have 3–5 years of Product Management experience, including 2+ years owning a consumer or marketplace mobile app.
  • Have strong product discovery and research skills, with evidence of using research to challenge assumptions.
  • Have hands-on experience writing PRDs and requirements that engineering teams have built from.
  • Have strong data and analytics capability, including funnels, metric definitions, and independent analysis.
  • Have end-to-end product ownership experience, from idea through launch and post-launch measurement.
  • Have a commercial mindset and interest in understanding the revenue and business impact of product decisions.
  • Have practical agentic AI experience, including multi-step AI workflows and validating AI-generated outputs.
  • Have strong attention to detail, particularly with data, documentation, analytics, and AI-assisted work.
  • Have strong cross-functional stakeholder management across Engineering, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Demonstrate independent decision-making and product judgment, forming recommendations rather than waiting for direction.
  • Have excellent written English communication.
  • Have a strong understanding of real-world mobile user experience, including time pressure, distractions, poor connectivity, and other practical usage constraints.
Responsibilities
  • Own the Jeeny Passenger App on Android and iOS, the rules behind it, and its commercial outcomes after release.
  • Own the booking funnel, from opening the app and checking a price through choosing pickup and destination, requesting a ride, tracking acceptance, and boarding; decide how price checks, saved or recent destinations, expired offers, and cancellations are handled.
  • Own wallet balance, digital payments, saved cards, promo codes, cashback, and subscription plans, including promo application, display of subscription savings, and responses to passenger overcharge concerns.
  • Own driver ratings, cancellation reasons, in-app help, and the review queue on Google Play and the App Store; shape cancellation reasons, help-centre content, and feedback pathways.
  • Monitor crash rate, ANRs, app store ratings, and review queues weekly; prioritize fixes and make the case for engineering time when app-quality work must take precedence over feature work.
  • Specify passenger actions to log as core database data or tracking events, define feature-level data, and verify tracking events on Android and iOS before and after release.
  • Shape go-to-market plans with marketing, including target passengers, in-app, push, SMS, WhatsApp, or social communications, English and Arabic messaging, and support briefings.
  • Own adoption outcomes over time and investigate low feature usage among eligible passengers.
  • Develop commercial cases for products involving subscriptions, promo budgets, or referral incentives, assessing costs, expected returns, and measurement.
  • Conduct passenger discovery by reviewing Arabic app-store reviews, listening to support-call recordings, visiting a driver hub in Riyadh, and speaking directly with passengers when possible.
  • Use visual product analytics session replays to identify hesitation, payment abandonment, and other points where passengers leave or back out.
  • Document discovery before proposing a solution, including observations, affected passenger counts, and open questions; maintain a steady flow of researched PRDs while discovery continues on upcoming problems.
  • Study how competitors handle price transparency, ride matching, cancellation policy, ratings, subscriptions, and passenger support; track app changes and assess why practices work, their operating costs, and applicability to Jeeny's markets.
  • Use AI in research synthesis, competitor analysis, data analysis, PRD drafts, and internal tools; extend the team's assistants and skills.
  • Direct AI agents through multi-step tasks involving BI and communication tools, cross-check their outputs, and verify numbers and claims before relying on them.
  • Build repeatable AI-enabled tools and workflows used by the team, rather than relying only on one-off prompts.
  • Assess where AI can meaningfully improve the passenger experience, such as destination suggestions and promo targeting, and where it would be decorative.
  • During the first month, learn the Passenger App screen by screen, connect with customer-support and KSA operations stakeholders, and ship a small fix through the full pipeline.
  • During the second month, conduct discovery on a passenger problem, turn it into a PRD, and take it through release while leading conversations with engineering and design.
  • During the third month, own a passenger-facing metric and write a launch plan for the role's work with marketing support; explain what changed the metric and why.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience building consumer products in ride-hailing, delivery, logistics, fintech, or loyalty and rewards.
  • Experience shipping products in Saudi Arabia or the wider Gulf, or working with Arabic and right-to-left interfaces.
  • Experience with BDD, spec-driven development, or working in an AI-driven development organization.
  • Experience directing AI agents against a data warehouse or analytics tool, such as Snowflake or CleverTap, as a regular workflow.
  • Fluency in Arabic.

Legal Career Pathways in Pakistan - Part - II.

Legal Career Pathways in Pakistan - Part - II. The LUMS Law Alumni Association (LLAA) invites students and young lawyers to Legal Career Pathways in Pakistan: Part II, a panel discussion on 24 July 2026 at 5:00 PM. This second session brings together LUMS Law alumni working in legal technology and AI, startup and technology law, in-house counsel roles, corporate advisory, and public sector regulation. Their careers have taken different routes: private practice, international development organizations, corporate legal departments, regulatory bodies, and legal tech ventures they built themselves. The panellists will discuss what these paths involve in practice, including the trade-offs each one carries. They will speak about the choices that shaped their own careers, and about how technology is changing what the profession expects of young lawyers. Students and young lawyers can expect practical advice on choosing a direction after law school, building commercial awareness, forming professional networks, and finding internships and mentors. A brief introduction of the panellists follows: Zafar Ali Habib (Class of 2014) Zafar Ali Habib is a graduate of the LUMS Law Class of 2014. He began his professional career as a Judicial Law Clerk and later worked with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). He subsequently shifted his focus to technology and founded Firefly Tech Solutions, a software development company with a specialized focus on legal tech solutions and AI-driven systems. He is also the founder of AI Attorney, a pioneering legal tech platform in Pakistan. As a legal technology professional, Zafar works with law firms, corporate legal departments, and organizations to design and implement innovative legal technology solutions that improve legal research, operational efficiency, and access to legal information. Fatima Wahla (Class of 2018) Fatima Wahla is a fractional legal counsel in the tech and startup space, working remotely with companies across multiple jurisdictions. She handles compliance, deal structuring, and the commercials that come with it - everything from term sheets to closing, with a side of crisis management (client induced or otherwise). Maira Rashid (Class of 2021) Maira works as an in-house counsel at the Jeeny Group, a ride-hailing company with operational markets in KSA, Jordan, UAE, and Pakistan. She specialises in company law, with extensive experience in corporate incorporations, structuring and restructuring, ensuring ongoing statutory and regulatory compliance, and advising boards and management on corporate governance frameworks, directors' duties, shareholder matters, and internal policies. She holds a BA-LLB (Honours) with a minor in Psychology from LUMS, graduating with distinction. Prior to joining Jeeny, Maira worked at Axis Law Chambers, where she handled matters across a wide range of areas, including regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, labour law, competition law, intellectual property law, and other commercial laws, providing key support on both transactional and advisory work for clients across various industry sectors. Kehar Khan (Class of 2022) Kehar is a Management Executive (Legal) at the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), where he advises on corporate and securities law and represents the Commission before judicial forums in regulatory and enforcement matters. A graduate of LUMS, he has experience in litigation, corporate regulation, and public sector legal practice. Here is the recording of this session.
