About the Company

Actionstep

Cloud-based legal practice management platform

Actionstep provides a cloud-based practice management platform for midsize law firms and compliance-focused businesses. It combines matter management, workflow automation, document automation and storage, time tracking, billing, and both office and trust accounting in an integrated system. The platform integrates with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Xero, and QuickBooks, includes a secure client portal and mobile app, and lets firms customize workflows from intake to resolution with document templates and communications features. Actionstep differentiates itself by adapting to a firm’s existing processes rather than imposing a fixed workflow, and it has expanded through acquisitions under Serent Capital to broaden its ecosystem and reach in the U.S. and beyond, aiming to help small- to mid-sized firms operate more efficiently with a scalable, all-in-one platform.
