Salesloft names Stephanie Manzelli Chief People Officer as it accelerates the future of revenue.

Salesloft names Stephanie Manzelli Chief People Officer as it accelerates the future of revenue. Experienced people leader will shape the talent, leadership and culture powering Salesloft's transformation. October 06, 2026 09:35 ET | Source: SalesLoft ATLANTA, Oct. 06, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - Salesloft, the leader in Revenue Orchestration, today announced the appointment of Stephanie Manzelli as Chief People Officer. Manzelli will lead Salesloft's global people strategy, spanning talent, leadership development, organizational design, employee experience and culture, and build the organizational capabilities needed to execute the company's strategy and support its growth. Manzelli joins Salesloft at a pivotal moment in the company's evolution. Following the 2025 merger of Clari and Salesloft, the two organizations now operate as one company with one leadership team, one strategy and one brand. As Salesloft advances its Predictive Revenue System and its vision for the future of revenue, Manzelli will strengthen the leadership, culture and capabilities that turn that strategy into action across the organization. "As we advance our vision for the future of revenue, we need a people strategy that is just as ambitious as our business strategy," said Steve Cox, CEO of Salesloft. "Stephanie brings the business acumen, direct leadership and experience navigating complex transformations to translate where we're going as a company into how we lead, develop and equip our people to get there." Manzelli joins Salesloft from Employ, where she served as Chief People Officer. Previously, she served as Vice President of People & Culture at SmartBear and held senior HR leadership roles across the retail, insurance and technology sectors. Throughout her career, she has led organizations through periods of significant change, integrating teams, evolving operating models and translating business priorities into people strategies that strengthen performance and the employee experience. As Chief People Officer, Manzelli will also advance Salesloft's workforce strategy as AI reshapes how teams work and what they can accomplish. She will focus on developing talent, equipping leaders and building AI fluency across the organization, including creating opportunities for employees to build new skills as the needs of the business evolve. "What drew me to Salesloft is that the company isn't just talking about transformation. It's doing the hard work to make it real," said Stephanie Manzelli, Chief People Officer at Salesloft. "AI is changing what businesses and their people are capable of, and companies have a responsibility to bring their workforce along with that change. That means giving people the tools, skills and clarity to grow with the business while building the leadership and culture needed to perform at a higher level." Manzelli's appointment comes as Salesloft unifies its business, brand and technology strategy around a clear vision for the future of revenue. Following the company's recent return to the Salesloft brand, it unveiled the next evolution of its Predictive Revenue System and its vision for the agentic era, designed to bring people and AI agents together across the revenue process to predict what's ahead, adapt as conditions change and accelerate revenue attainment. Manzelli's appointment reinforces the role of people, leadership and culture in delivering on that vision. About Salesloft Salesloft is the revenue orchestration platform that closes the gap between what revenue teams know and what they do next. Powered by agentic AI, Salesloft's Predictive Revenue System connects live signals from buyer engagement, conversations, deals, and forecast data, turning intelligence into clear, prioritized action. AI transforms Revenue and billing software, ISG says.

AI transforms Revenue and billing software, ISG says. * 3 hrs ago Enterprise revenue software is evolving to help companies better understand and act on information throughout the revenue cycle while adapting to the growing complexity of functions such as pricing and billing, according to new research from global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm Information Services Group (ISG) (Nasdaq: III). The 2026 ISG Buyers Guides(TM) for Revenue and Recurring Billing find that organizations are seeking greater visibility and analysis of revenue-related activities and more flexible software for pricing, selling and billing for an expanding array of products and services. They are rapidly integrating AI into revenue intelligence platforms and other systems to increase automation, improve consistency and accelerate sales cycles. "Revenue intelligence strengthens execution by linking evidence and insight to actions that improve business outcomes," said Barika Pace, director of research, Office of Revenue, ISG, and lead author of the report. "AI is empowering companies to scale and adapt their revenue operations for emerging opportunities." The ISG Buyers Guide research provides the rankings and ratings of 50 software providers and their products for revenue and recurring billing operations. The series includes guides to software for revenue intelligence, recurring billing and configure, price and quote (CPQ) functions. Revenue intelligence software, the data and decisioning layer of the revenue stack, complements customer relationship management (CRM) platforms by automatically capturing information about the full context of interactions between buyers and sellers. Advanced analysis of this data, which may come from emails, calendars, meetings, calls and other sources, helps to identify engagement patterns, deal momentum, risks and likely outcomes. Using these observations, revenue intelligence can generate recommendations for sellers, managers and revenue leaders. AI is a major driver of the shift in revenue intelligence from retrospective analysis to continuous execution. By 2028, one-third of enterprises will use generative AI in revenue lifecycles to generate pricing guidance, contract language and renewal recommendations, ISG says. AI tools can improve seller productivity, making deals more consistent and sales cycles shorter if they are connected to governed workflows and use trusted data and decision logic. Smoothly integrated into daily workflows, AI-enabled revenue intelligence can prevent sellers from spending time logging activities and managers from making decisions based on subjective judgments. It provides a consistent view across teams, regions and segments so companies can quickly identify urgent developments such as stalled deals and changes in buyer sentiment. Organizations evaluating revenue intelligence software should consider security, reliability and integration with existing CRM and other systems, ISG says. Due to the sensitive nature of data involved in the revenue lifecycle, platforms should enable role-based access, regional policies, data residency controls and other safeguards without excessive technical effort. Companies should understand how data is collected, retained and used, how AI models are monitored and where human review is required. "AI-enabled revenue intelligence is an increasingly important part of how companies make money, interact with customers and grow," Pace said. "It needs to be strictly governed and closely aligned with all core business operations." For the 2026 ISG Buyers Guides for Revenue and Recurring Billing, ISG produced three Buyers Guides: Revenue Intelligence, Recurring Billing and Configure, Price, Quote. Each covers the essential platform categories and products in the given technology segment. A total of 50 providers were assessed: Apparound, AppDirect, Aria Systems, Aviso, Backstory, BillingPlatform, Bit2win, Chargebee, Conga Advantage CPQ, Conga Billing, Conga Smart CPQ, CSG, DealHub, Epicor, Everstage, Experlogix, GleanView, Gong, Gotransverse, HubSpot, Infor, keylight, LogiSense, Maxio, Mediafly, Microsoft, OneBill, Oracle, Oracle NetSuite, Outreach, Paddle, Pricefx, Recurly, RecVue, Revenue Grid, Revenue.io, Revalize, Salesforce, Salesloft, Salesloft (Clari), SAP, servicePath, Stripe, Tacton, Terret, Vendavo, Yagna iQ, Zilliant, Zoho and Zuora. ISG rates software providers' products in five evaluation categories: Overall, Product Experience, Capability, Platform and Customer Experience. Providers ranked in the top three for each evaluation category are named as Leaders. Within each platform category, those that meet the greatest proportion of its evaluation criteria are named as Overall Leaders. Salesforce was the top Overall Leader in Revenue Intelligence, followed by Gong and Salesloft. Zuora was the top Overall Leader in Recurring Billing, followed by Stripe and BillingPlatform. Oracle was the top Overall Leader in Configure, Price, Quote, followed by Conga Advantage CPQ and Conga Smart CPQ. In addition, the following providers were rated as Exemplary or Innovative in each of the Buyers Guides: Revenue Intelligence: Gong, Outreach, Salesforce and Salesloft were rated Exemplary. Aviso and Salesloft (Clari) were rated Innovative. Recurring Billing: BillingPlatform, Chargebee, Conga Billing, Gotransverse, Oracle, Salesforce, Stripe and Zuora were rated Exemplary. Aria Systems and Oracle NetSuite were rated Innovative. Configure, Price, Quote: Bit2win, Conga Advantage CPQ, Conga Smart CPQ, HubSpot, Oracle, Revalize, Salesforce, Tacton, Zoho and Zuora were rated Exemplary. Epicor, Everstage and SAP were rated Innovative. The ISG Buyers Guides for Revenue and Recurring Billing are the distillation of more than a year of market and product research efforts. The research is not sponsored nor influenced by software providers and is conducted solely to help enterprises optimize their business and IT software investments. Visit this webpage to learn more about the ISG Buyers Guides for Revenue and Recurring Billing and read executive summaries of each of the three reports. Consensus appoints former Salesloft and Greenhouse CRO Sean Murray as CRO.

Consensus appoints former Salesloft and Greenhouse CRO Sean Murray as CRO. * By PRNewswire * September 24, 2026 Appointment caps a record year: 2x acquisitions completed, leader placement in G2's new Agentic GTM Platforms category, and ranked #127 on the Inc. 5000 Consensus, the world's most trusted Demo Platform and the #1-rated Demo Automation solution on G2, today announced the appointment of Sean Murray as Chief Revenue Officer. Murray takes full ownership of the company's revenue organization following a year in which Consensus completed two acquisitions, positioning it as the only platform in the market connecting self-guided product exploration, AI-powered conversations, and live demos. Murray joins Consensus after most recently serving as CEO of Productiv, the SaaS management platform. But his track record in GTM is what really sets him apart. As CRO at Greenhouse, he helped scale the business from $40M to more than $200M. Before that, at Salesloft, he built the company's enterprise motion from the ground up, helping take the business from $20M to $60M. He knows how to build a disciplined, repeatable revenue engine, and how to do it hands-on. Just as importantly, the people who've worked with him consistently want to do it again, a kind of loyalty that's earned over time. "I've spent my career building and scaling revenue engines, including as CRO at Salesloft and Greenhouse, and most recently as CEO of Productiv," said Murray. "What drew me to Consensus is that the shift is already happening. Buyers are running most of their evaluation before they ever talk to a seller, and Consensus is the only company that sees all of it: self-guided, conversational, and live. That is not a better demo tool. That is the intelligence layer for how enterprise software gets bought." The appointment of Murray caps twelve months of compounding momentum: * Two acquisitions in under six months. Consensus acquired Peel in April 2026, adding AI-powered conversational demos, and Saleo in June 2026, adding data-rich live demos that inject account-specific data into the native product. Together, they created the first end-to-end platform that covers every way a buyer sees a product. * A powerful expansion engine. With AI-led, buyer-led, and seller-led demos now on one platform, Consensus can sell more value into an enterprise base that already includes 60% of the world's largest software companies, and some of the most dominant enterprise business software and platforms in the global market, including Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, and HubSpot. * G2 leadership in a new category. Consensus was named a leader in Agentic GTM Platforms, the category G2 introduced in August 2026 for platforms that use AI agents to coordinate and execute work across the go-to-market lifecycle. Consensus also holds the #1 position in Demo Automation and was named one of G2's Top 5 Sales Software Platforms of 2026, alongside Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, and PandaDoc, out of more than 4,600 products. * A breakout year for growth. 2026 has marked a step-change in Consensus' growth trajectory, with double-digit revenue growth, accelerating customer demand, deep enterprise adoption, and expansion across the platform, creating momentum across every dimension of the business. * Inc. 5000. Saleo, now Consensus Live, ranked #127 on the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies on three-year revenue growth, the top 3% of the list, #12 among U.S. software companies, and #3 among all Georgia companies. The Inc. 5000 ranking is the clearest outside read on that growth. Inc. ranks companies on three-year revenue growth, verified against audited financials, the one honor on the list that cannot be won on narrative. Saleo ranked #127 out of 5,000 honorees from 2022 to 2025, placing it in the top 3% of the fastest-growing private companies in America and ahead of all but 11 U.S. software companies. The business now operates as Consensus Live, the seller-led half of the Consensus platform. "Sean has done this at scale twice and then ran a company," said Doug Johnson, CEO of Consensus. "We are not hiring a CRO to fix something. We are hiring one to press an advantage. We own the category G2 just created a page for, and we are the only platform that captures buyer intelligence across every demo surface. Sean knows exactly what to do with that." Murray will own new business, expansion, and partnerships, and will lead the go-to-market organization through the company's next phase: turning demo engagement into Demo Intelligence: the buyer signals that tell revenue teams who is in the buying group, what they care about, and when a deal is actually moving. "Every revenue leader is being asked to do more with a smaller team and larger buying committees," said Murray. "The answer is not more meetings. It is letting the product do the selling and reading the signals it sends back to close the deal. Consensus is there, every step of the way."

Cognism vs apollo.io: which B2B data platform is right for you?

Cognism vs apollo.io: which B2B data platform is right for you? Last updated: September 20, 2026 Cognism wins on data quality and compliance; Apollo wins on price and all-in-one features. If you're in Europe or have strict GDPR requirements, Cognism is the safer choice. If you're an early-stage team that needs prospecting, sequencing, and enrichment in one affordable tool, Apollo is hard to beat. The decision comes down to your geography, compliance obligations, and whether you need a dedicated data layer or a full sales engagement platform. Key takeaways * Cognism has stronger GDPR compliance and European mobile coverage; Apollo has a larger overall database and a free tier. * Apollo's pricing starts at $0 (limited) and scales from ~$49/user/month; Cognism quotes custom contracts, typically $15,000-$30,000+ per year for small teams. * Apollo includes built-in email sequencing and dialer; Cognism is a data layer that integrates with your existing stack. * For outbound-heavy SDR teams targeting European accounts, Cognism's phone-verified mobile numbers are a meaningful edge. * Neither tool tells you which companies are actively using your competitors - for that, you need a different approach entirely. What is Cognism and who is it built for? Cognism is a B2B data platform focused on contact and company data, with particular strength in European and UK markets. It provides verified mobile numbers, email addresses, and firmographic data, and is built around compliance - it maintains its own do-not-call suppression list and is designed for teams that need to demonstrate GDPR and CCPA compliance to legal or procurement. The typical Cognism customer is a mid-market or enterprise sales team running high-volume outbound, often with a legal team in the loop. They care more about data accuracy - especially phone numbers - than about having a built-in sequencing tool. Cognism integrates with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, and Salesloft rather than competing with them. Cognism's Diamond Data tier includes phone-verified mobile numbers, where a human has confirmed the number is correct and belongs to the right person. This is meaningfully different from data that's simply scraped and matched, and it explains why Cognism commands a premium price. What is Apollo.io and who is it built for? Apollo.io is a full sales intelligence and engagement platform - it combines a 275M+ contact database with built-in email sequencing, a dialer, LinkedIn integration, and AI-assisted workflows. For a team that doesn't want to stitch together a data tool, a sequencer, and an enrichment layer, Apollo handles all three. Apollo's sweet spot is early-stage and growth-stage SaaS companies where the sales team is small, budget is limited, and people need to move fast without an ops team configuring integrations. The free tier gives you 10,000 email credits per month and access to the full prospecting interface, which makes it one of the lowest-friction ways to get started with outbound. The trade-off is data quality. Apollo's database is large, but mobile number accuracy - especially outside North America - lags behind Cognism. Salesloft's research on B2B data accuracy found that mobile number accuracy varies by as much as 40 percentage points depending on the provider and the region being targeted. For US-focused teams doing email-led outreach, this gap is manageable. For European cold-call campaigns, it matters a lot. How does Cognism's data quality compare to Apollo's? Data quality is where the two platforms diverge most sharply, and it's the single most important factor for SDR teams running phone-based outreach. Cognism's flagship differentiator is phone-verified mobile numbers. For the Diamond Data tier, a real person has called and confirmed the contact before the number enters the database. The result is connect rates that Cognism customers consistently report as materially higher than industry averages - particularly in the UK and Europe where mobile number churn is high. Apollo's mobile number coverage is broader in raw volume but lower in verified accuracy. Their strength is email: with 275M+ contacts and a strong email verification layer, Apollo is one of the better tools for email-first outbound. For teams running email sequences rather than call-first workflows, this is often sufficient. "We switched from Apollo to Cognism for our UK team specifically because connect rates on cold calls had dropped below 4%. Within two months on Cognism Diamond Data, we were back above 11%." - Head of Sales Development, 60-person B2B SaaS, London For European B2B data specifically, Cognism also maintains TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and CTPS suppression lists, which is a legal requirement for cold calling in the UK. Apollo does not natively handle this, which creates compliance risk for UK teams. How does Cognism pricing compare to Apollo pricing? Pricing is where Apollo has a clear structural advantage, especially for smaller teams. Apollo pricing. * Free: 10,000 email credits/month, basic sequences, limited exports * Basic: ~$49/user/month (billed annually) - unlimited email credits, full sequences * Professional: ~$79/user/month - advanced analytics, AI features, more dialer minutes * Organization: ~$119/user/month - custom permissions, SSO, advanced reporting Cognism pricing. Cognism does not publish pricing. Contracts are sold annually, typically with a platform fee plus a data credit package. Based on publicly reported figures and user reviews on G2, most small teams (2-5 seats) pay $15,000-$30,000 per year for a base package. Diamond Data adds cost. For enterprise teams, annual contracts routinely exceed $50,000. The gap is significant. A 3-person SDR team on Apollo Professional pays roughly $2,844/year. The equivalent Cognism contract would typically be 5-10x that. For early-stage companies, this is a real constraint - and it's the main reason Apollo dominates in smaller teams despite Cognism's data quality advantages. What features does each platform offer that the other doesn't? | Feature | Cognism | Apollo | | Phone-verified mobile numbers | | (Diamond tier) | | | | Built-in email sequencer | | | | | | Built-in dialer | | | | | | GDPR / TPS compliance layer | | (native) | Partial | | Free tier | | | | | | LinkedIn extension | | | | | | CRM enrichment | | | | | | Intent data | | (via Bombora partnership) | | (native) | | AI-assisted outreach writing | | | | | | Technographic / competitor filters | Limited | Limited | One gap that neither platform fills well: identifying companies that are actively using a specific competitor. Both Cognism and Apollo offer technographic filters - you can filter by tech stack categories like "CRM" or "marketing automation" - but neither gives you a clean, real-time list of companies confirmed to be using a named competitor product. If competitor targeting is a core part of your ICP strategy, you'll need a dedicated tool alongside either platform. Stealery is built specifically for this: you search a competitor's name and get a filtered list of every company confirmed to be using it, ready to hand off to your sequencer. Which platform is better for SDRs doing high-volume outbound? The answer depends on your motion and your market. Choose Cognism if: * You're targeting UK or European accounts and cold calling is part of your workflow * Your company has legal or procurement requirements around data compliance * Connect rate on dials is a KPI you're measured on - Diamond Data's accuracy justifies the cost * You already have a sequencing tool (Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo sequences) and just need clean data piped in Choose Apollo if: * You're targeting North American accounts where email-first outbound is the primary motion * You need sequencing, dialing, and data in one tool without budget for a full stack * You're an early-stage team that needs to move fast and can't commit to a $20,000+ annual contract * You want AI-assisted email writing baked into the same workflow Gartner's analysis of the sales technology market consistently shows that data accuracy and workflow integration are the two most cited reasons teams switch between B2B data providers - not price. That said, price is almost always the reason early-stage teams don't upgrade in the first place, which explains why Apollo has grown faster in the sub-50-employee segment while Cognism dominates mid-market. Can you use both Cognism and Apollo together? Yes, and some teams do - particularly those that use Apollo for US prospecting and Cognism for UK/EU, or those that use Apollo's sequencing layer while feeding it data from Cognism. The duplication cost is real, but for teams where both markets matter, it's sometimes the pragmatic answer. A more common pattern is to use Apollo as the primary platform and supplement it with Cognism exports for specific campaigns where mobile number quality is critical - for example, a targeted outbound push on a named accounts list where you're cold calling VP-level contacts in the UK. You pay Cognism for verified data on that specific cohort rather than running a full Cognism contract. If your team is evaluating the full stack, it's worth mapping out your outreach motion first: what percentage of your pipeline comes from cold calls vs cold email vs LinkedIn? If it's mostly email, Apollo alone is likely sufficient. If cold calling is 40%+ of your activity and you're in Europe, Cognism's accuracy premium pays for itself in connect rates.
