Requirements
  • A Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree is required to maintain Osteopathic recognition for the program.
  • Completion of an accredited Family Medicine program.
  • Board certification or true board eligibility in Family Medicine.
  • An active, unrestricted medical license in Georgia or eligibility to obtain one.
  • An unrestricted Drug Enforcement Administration registration.
  • Five years of teaching experience and experience in graduate medical education administration.
  • Two years of experience in Family Medicine education.
  • Ability to provide ambulatory and inpatient care.
  • Advanced knowledge of clinical ultrasound use in musculoskeletal medicine and experience in procedural training for fellows and residents.
Responsibilities
  • Join the Family Medicine Graduate Medical Education program as a faculty member.
  • Provide clinical education and medical training to residents and fellows.
  • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care.
  • Provide procedural training for fellows and residents.
