Snowflake provides a cloud-based data platform called the Snowflake Data Cloud that lets customers store, process, and analyze large amounts of data. It operates on a pay-per-use model, charging for data stored and for computing power used. The platform is designed to be easy to use and handles many data types, supporting use cases from data warehousing and data lakes to data engineering, data science, and data applications. Snowflake differentiates itself with a cloud-native architecture that separates storage and compute, enabling on-demand scaling for diverse workloads across organizations, from startups to large enterprises. The company’s goal is to offer a scalable, flexible, and accessible data platform that unifies storage, processing, and analytics in one service.

UiPath and Snowflake have expanded their partnership with a two-way integration now available on Snowflake Marketplace. The integration allows customers to bring Snowflake data into UiPath automations and trigger those automations directly from Snowflake without copying data between systems. The partnership includes three key components: UiPath Data Fabric, which reads and models data directly from Snowflake without duplication; UiPath Cartographer, offering native Snowflake Cortex connectivity; and Snowflake CoCo integration with UiPath's agentic skills library for executing automation directly from CoCo. The zero-copy integration maintains data governance, including access controls, policies, and auditability, whilst enabling real-time enterprise context flow into the UiPath Platform. This allows organisations to build AI agents and workflows grounded in governed, live data whilst maintaining security boundaries. UiPath is now available on Snowflake Marketplace, simplifying deployment for joint customers.
MongoDB shares plunged 18.46% to $334.68 after chief executive Chirantan Desai departed to lead Meta's new Enterprise Platform unit. Snowflake fell 2.33% to $328.12 the same day. Snowflake stock surged 115% in the six months to September 28, 2026, driven by accelerating revenue growth aided by its AI products. Early signs of the rally appeared in November 2024, when management reported remaining performance obligations growing at 55% year-over-year, signalling future revenue acceleration. Revenue growth initially remained modest, ranging between 26% and 30% through fiscal Q4 2026. However, by the time the stock began its run on March 27, 2026, revenue growth was already trending upward in filed results. The company's operating loss also narrowed significantly, from 43% of revenue in fiscal Q1 2026 to 25% by fiscal Q4 2026. This improvement continued as the operating loss shrunk to 23% of revenue over the last twelve months. Snowflake now trades at 21.1 times annual sales, compared to 3.1 times for the S&P 500.
Transcend has launched its Consent & Preferences Management solution as a Snowflake Native App on Snowflake Marketplace. The app brings Transcend's consent and preference data directly into customers' Snowflake accounts, automatically converting it into enforceable policy. The integration addresses a common challenge: determining whether customer data can be legally used for specific purposes. The app applies governance controls within Snowflake without requiring custom pipelines or SQL knowledge, enabling teams across marketing, privacy, and data to access one unified answer. The native app transforms consent data into row access policies and safe views, enforced at query time. Data stewards gain real-time visibility into which datasets are governed, with one-click remediation for gaps. TextNow is already using the solution, with Head of Platform and Security Engineering Andrew Cotton noting it reduces implementation time from weeks to hours.
