- Completed university studies in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or an equivalent qualification such as a state-certified technician in automation or measurement and control technology, with initial professional experience.
- Good knowledge of control and automation technology, ideally supplemented by basic knowledge of mechanical engineering.
- Very good written and spoken German and English; additional foreign languages are advantageous.
- Willingness to undertake international business travel and possession of a Class B or BF17 driving license.
- Strong service and customer orientation, communication skills, and an independent, reliable, solution-oriented working style with analytical and technical understanding.
- Ability to work safely at heights without vertigo.
- Perform worldwide customer-site assignments for commissioning, repair, and maintenance of company systems, particularly electrical and hydraulic web guiding systems, slitting systems, web tension control systems, web inspection equipment, and winding shafts.
- Advise and train customers on technical applications both on site and remotely.
- Act as the technical contact for internal sales regarding application questions and technical clarifications.
- Provide telephone-based technical support to field sales representatives.
- Additional foreign languages.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical engineering.

Maxcess, the global leader for automation in the web handling industry, announced that Odd Joergenrud will step down from his position as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
