What You'll Do
As a Medication Aide, you'll provide compassionate support to residents while assisting with medication administration and daily care needs according to individualized care plans.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer medications and limited topical treatments to residents
- Provide quality bedside care and support residents' daily needs
- Assist residents with activities of daily living according to their care plans
- Support residents' physical, mental, and emotional well-being
- Follow community programs, policies, procedures, and core values
- Maintain compliance with all applicable legal, regulatory, and safety requirements
- Communicate resident needs and changes appropriately with the care team
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid Trained Medication Aide (TMA) certificate required
- One year of experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and commitment to resident care
- Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to providing quality support to older adults
