Requirements
  • Two years of relevant work experience or equivalent years of job experience.
  • A 2-year Associate degree or equivalent years of job experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one major programming language used by the product stack, such as Angular, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or C#, sufficient to write and test code-level fixes.
  • Experience with Azure Application Insights or an equivalent application performance monitoring tool for distributed tracing and exception analysis, including KQL/Kusto query authoring, and strong log-analysis skills across structured backend and frontend logs.
  • Confident read-only querying and slow-query diagnosis using SQL and PostgreSQL.
  • Ability to read and reason about .NET/C# and Angular/TypeScript stack traces and exceptions.
  • Experience inspecting running Docker/container services, logs, and configuration, and troubleshooting environment and deployment settings such as environment variables, feature flags, and service configuration.
Responsibilities
  • Modify and maintain application software to support internal and external business processes.
  • Meet with analysts and project leaders to understand requirements and timelines.
  • Collaborate with functional teams to lead incident resolution.
  • Diagnose data and performance issues using read-only SQL/PostgreSQL querying and slow-query analysis.
  • Maintain existing code under minimal guidance from the team.
  • Perform unit testing on programming changes.
  • Document program revisions and overall solution design.
  • Develop clear, succinct, accurate, and appropriately detailed application and training documentation.
  • Assist in creating or maintaining application installation and troubleshooting guides.
  • Troubleshoot day-to-day application issues and provide debugging support as needed.
  • Test and identify the best solutions and create solution documents.
  • Provide support during outages, job failures, implementations, and similar events.
  • Troubleshoot issues with systems used on a consistent basis.
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex applications.
  • Train end users on new applications or enhancements to existing applications.
  • Offer feedback and ideas for improvements in applications, processes, systems, and technical areas.
Desired Qualifications
  • Application Support, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar technical support experience for a distributed or cloud-based application.
  • A 4-year Bachelor's degree.
  • Familiarity with Entity Framework Core query patterns, Redis cache diagnosis, RPC-based contract-first service architectures, .NET diagnostics using dotnet-trace and dotnet-dump, networking fundamentals including ingress/proxy, TLS, and service-to-service connectivity, and continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines.
