Wipfli launches Wipfli Supply Chain Connect for Sage Intacct.

Wipfli launches Wipfli Supply Chain Connect for Sage Intacct. Wipfli announces the launch of Wipfli Supply Chain Connect for Sage Intacct, a prebuilt, API-based integration designed to help healthcare organizations automate the flow of invoice data between healthcare procure-to-pay platforms and Sage Intacct Accounts Payable. Healthcare organizations rely on high-volume supply purchasing, making close alignment between material management and accounts payable essential for financial accuracy and operational continuity. But when procurement and AP teams operate in silos, invoice information often has to be entered manually - increasing the risk of inaccuracies, delaying payments and slowing invoice cycles Wipfli Supply Chain Connect helps solve that challenge by automatically transferring matched invoices, attachments and dimensional coding from procure-to-pay platforms to Sage Intacct. Invoices arrive ready for review and payment, reducing manual work while helping healthcare finance teams improve accuracy and accelerate AP processing. "Healthcare finance teams are under pressure to do more with less while maintaining strong visibility into one of their largest cost drivers: medical supplies," said Matt Rowley, partner, Wipfli. "Wipfli Supply Chain Connect helps reduce the manual handoffs that slow invoice processing, giving teams a more accurate, connected way to manage purchasing data, AP workflows and reporting." Designed specifically for healthcare organizations using healthcare procure-to-pay platforms and Sage Intacct, Wipfli Supply Chain Connect supports hospitals, critical access hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and multi-site providers. The integration is built to address real finance and supply chain challenges, including manual invoice entry, inconsistent dimensional coding, limited spend visibility and slow close processes. Unlike custom-built integrations or generic AP automation tools, Wipfli Supply Chain Connect is a prebuilt accelerator that does not require custom development. The integration supports accurate coding across departments, locations, classes, projects and other dimensions, helping organizations simplify reporting and strengthen audit-ready visibility into spend. Wipfli Supply Chain Connect also builds on Wipfli's Sage Intacct integration experience. Wipfli has been a trusted Sage Intacct integration partner for more than 12 years, with more than 400 implementations and a growing portfolio of products built to help organizations extend the value of their enterprise systems. The launch of Wipfli Supply Chain Connect reflects Wipfli's continued focus on helping healthcare organizations improve finance operations, reduce manual processes and gain better visibility into the data that drives performance.

Don Betthauser to receive Blugold Spirit Award at UW-Eau Claire Homecoming.

Don Betthauser to receive Blugold Spirit Award at UW-Eau Claire Homecoming. Don Betthauser will receive this year's Blugold Spirit Award during UW-Eau Claire's Homecoming celebrations in October. A former football champion and long-time supporter of university athletics, Betthauser is recognized for his dedication both on campus and in his professional life. 8h ago Wednesday, Sept 23 By T. S. Cason Don Betthauser, a 1966 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, will be honored with the Blugold Spirit Award on Oct. 2 as part of the university's Homecoming activities. The award is presented annually by the Alumni Association to a supporter who demonstrates a strong commitment to the campus and embodies excellence in daily life. Betthauser was a member of UW-Eau Claire's only back-to-back football championship teams, playing under head coach James Rice during the undefeated 1963 season and again in 1964 when the team won another title. "I chose Eau Claire because it was a good school, my brother had gone here and it was close to my hometown," Betthauser said. "It all worked out well." In addition to receiving the award, Betthauser and his wife Jan will serve as grand marshals for the Homecoming parade on Oct. 3. Despite being recognized for his longstanding support, Betthauser said he prefers not to be in the spotlight: "This is all very nice, but I'm not sure I deserve it. To be honest, it makes me a little nervous," he said. Jane Larson, alumni relations officer at UW-Eau Claire, said selecting Betthauser for this year's award was an easy decision: "When it came time to select the Spirit Award, Uncle Don was at the top of my mind," Larson said. "Don has done so much for UW-Eau Claire over the years." Mark Faanes, retired senior partner at Wipfli LLP where Betthauser spent much of his career as an accountant working with governmental clients, called him 'Mr. Blugold.' Faanes said, "Many area municipalities benefitted from Don's expertise and tireless commitment to serve his clients." Betthauser has maintained steady attendance at Blugold athletic events for over five decades and continues supporting football through donations based on wins each season. He started donating $20 per win after graduation and now donates $65 per win. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire supports prominent programs such as its marching band; contributes to state culture and economy through collaborations; features partnerships with Mayo Clinic Health System; emphasizes critical-thinking skills; offers career-focused opportunities; boasts national recognition for quality and affordability; and maintains a scenic campus shared with health science partners - all according to its official website.
