Requirements
  • A high school diploma is required, along with 2 or more years of PEO, ASO, HCM, or multistate experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, skills, education, relevant nontraditional degree programs, or job training programs.
  • Two to four years of experience in customer service, payroll, HRIS, or a related PEO, ASO, or HCM environment is preferred.
  • Previous supervisory experience is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn other applications as needed, is required.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build positive working relationships is required.
  • Strong time-management and prioritization skills are required in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to perform varied assignments within the print room, operate different equipment, run varied production jobs, and learn new machinery or processes is required.
  • Sound decision-making abilities, including evaluating complex information and determining appropriate actions, are required.
  • Professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are required, including the ability to review documents and ensure quality and accuracy standards.
  • The ability to make informed decisions based on data and market conditions, solve problems, manage multiple tasks under deadlines, and handle high-pressure client situations is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required for working with employees, managers, clients, and external vendors, preparing documentation, conducting presentations and training, and providing clear instructions and support.
Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned clients.
  • Coordinate user setup and provide training for client-facing web-based payroll, custom reporting software, and service platforms.
  • Facilitate intervention steps for at-risk clients and collaborate with internal teams, clients, and business consultants on retention.
  • Manage client accounts and maintain relationships with clients, internal partners, brokers, and peers through proactive communication and service recommendations.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and internal operations to ensure service delivery follows department standard operating procedures.
  • Coordinate and lead client meetings concerning escalated issues or significant account matters.
  • Identify gaps in client processes and introduce products and services based on client needs.
  • Manage and escalate client issues through communication platforms, including submitting cases in Client Space to internal departments for resolution.
  • Determine and recommend annual increases or reductions to clients' administrative fees.
  • Assist with client tax account registration, educate clients on payroll tax questions, and obtain tax account login credentials when entering a new state.
  • Manage and escalate payroll tax notices through resolution.
  • Assist with required state and federal reporting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Review processed payrolls, resolve payroll errors and issues, and assist the team as needed.
  • Monitor Payroll Specialists who input payroll data and ensure payroll accuracy.
  • Assist with payroll calculations and deductions.
  • Maintain clear and consistent client communications.
  • Work with the Quality Control Team to process current- and prior-year voids and resolve posted payroll errors.
  • Analyze payroll problems and provide appropriate resolutions.
  • Communicate about Service Associates' performance, recommend training areas, and assist with employee coaching.
  • Collaborate with the Manager to implement changes, provide feedback on team performance, and escalate client issues.
  • Schedule and facilitate weekly POD team huddles concerning client escalations and learning opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with team members and peers across disciplines to coordinate communications and client services.
  • Organize and maintain shared team resources, including checklists, templates, and reference materials.
  • Provide backup support for routine payroll processing during high-volume periods or team member absences.
  • Attend webinars and training to stay current on company and department best practices.
  • Complete assigned projects and other duties requested by the supervisor.

Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2021, Distro uses AI to automate candidate screening through structured video interviews, providing instant insights to hiring teams. The platform operates a network of approximately 1.9 million active candidates across 68 countries. The acquisition strengthens Vensure's technology portfolio with advanced recruiting automation designed to reduce time-to-hire and improve candidate quality. Distro will be integrated into Vensure's ecosystem of HR solutions.
