  • A B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent is required.
  • At least 5 years of experience in insurance, underwriting, or commercial insurance product management is required.
  • Knowledge of underwriting discipline and compliance requirements across the full underwriting cycle, including new and renewal business underwriting processes, is required.
  • Experience with data reporting and automated underwriting technologies and techniques is required.
Responsibilities
  • Lead automated and data-driven underwriting projects.
  • Manage insurance products across carrier partners.
  • Research growth opportunities and new insurance offerings.
  • Support excess and surplus product development initiatives.
  • Coordinate product implementation activities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate on operational improvements within Insurance and other organizations.
  • Develop expertise across both insurance product and underwriting disciplines.
  • Partner across Insurance, Product, Claims, Data, and Operations teams to translate underwriting strategy into scalable processes and actionable insights.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for underwriting quality initiatives, risk management, data initiatives, and underwriting support operations to ensure alignment with company goals and risk appetite.

  • Familiarity with third-party data vendors and integrations.
