- Meet all requirements for Machinist A and have an additional three years of experience, for a total of ten years of machine shop or applicable trade school experience, or a combination of both.
- Show proficiency using CamWorks programming software within 90 days of accepting the position.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
- Pass a physical examination according to White Sands Test Facility physical examination requirements for the job classification.
- Have basic computer skills.
- Meet certification requirements, if applicable, specified in the White Sands Training Database.
- Perform CNC setup, programming, operation, and maintenance with little or no supervision.
- Hold tolerances of plus or minus 0.0001 using CNC or manual machines.
- Work individually or as a member of a team to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment as directed and immediately communicate safety concerns to management.
- Execute a safety-first approach with oneself and coworkers.
