- Expert-level experience with the MERN stack, including React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and NestJS.
- Experience with Angular for hybrid ecosystems.
- Experience with AWS architecture and deployment.
- Knowledge of microservices and API design patterns.
- Database expertise with MongoDB, Postgres, and Oracle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of authentication and security using JWT, OAuth, and OWASP.
- At least 5 years of experience.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and propose viable solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience with insurance-domain systems is required as a standout qualification.
- Ability to learn and adopt new technologies as required.
- Define system architecture and the technical roadmap for MERN-based solutions.
- Design solutions and lead conversations for design approvals.
- Lead development teams and mentor engineers.
- Ensure code quality, security, and performance standards.
- Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on solution design.
- Drive CI/CD, DevOps integration, and release planning.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Champion GitHub Copilot adoption across the engineering team by defining prompting standards and best-practice guidelines.
- Use Copilot Chat and AI models to evaluate architectural trade-offs and generate architecture decision records.
- Use AI-powered code analysis tools to produce technical debt heat maps and guide sprint refactoring priorities.
- Automate pull request review summaries using Copilot.
- Integrate AI-assisted security scanning, including GitHub Advanced Security and Copilot Autofix, into CI/CD gates.
- Use AI tools to generate Infrastructure-as-Code from architecture diagrams.
- Explore large language model-powered search over internal codebases to accelerate onboarding and knowledge transfer.
- Experience with Angular for hybrid front-end ecosystems.
- Experience with GraphQL API design.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CDK.
- Knowledge of rule engine architecture, workflow orchestration BPM, and CIB7.
- Knowledge of process modeling using BPMN 2.0 and DMN 1.3.
- Experience deploying workflow orchestration on AWS and integrating workflow engines into microservices ecosystems.
