About the Company

Michigan Broadband Services

Rural fiber internet and telecom services

Michigan Broadband Services provides fiber internet, voice, TV, and mobile services to residential and business customers in rural parts of Michigan, operating as an incumbent and competitive local carrier. Its fiber internet uses fiber-to-the-home to deliver high-speed, unlimited data, with TV powered by TiVo and bundled voice and security offerings, plus an upcoming mobile service. The company differentiates itself by building its own fiber network through a local construction team, emphasizing local support, and a community giving program that lets customers donate 5% of their bill to charity. Its goal is to expand fiber reach to more homes—targeting roughly 50,000—while expanding service lines to provide integrated connectivity for homes and businesses.
