- Graduation from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
- Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
- Certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
- Operate X-ray and fluoroscopic equipment to produce routine radiographs of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Perform intravenous, subdural, and arterial radiographic studies.
- Work in hospital areas requiring autonomy and indirect supervision.
- Work with a female population over 35 years of age.
- Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
