Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • At least 15 years of progressive construction leadership experience, including at least 5 years in an executive role.
  • Proven success managing complex, high-value projects from start to finish.
  • Deep knowledge of construction means and methods, safety standards, building codes, and project controls.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including experience managing profit and loss for large projects or divisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam.
Responsibilities
  • Provide vision, direction, and leadership for all construction operations.
  • Develop strategies to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability across projects.
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and innovation consistent with the company’s core values.
  • Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing construction teams and leaders.
  • Oversee execution of all active construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of construction processes, systems, and reporting.
  • Drive problem-solving and resolution of construction challenges with urgency and creativity.
  • Partner with Pre-Construction, Design, and Development teams to ensure seamless project transitions.
  • Work with Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
  • Collaborate with Business Development to support project pursuits and client proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, trade partners, and community stakeholders.
  • Serve as the executive point of contact for clients during construction, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public forums.
