About the job

Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in growth, demand generation, or performance marketing, spanning both product-led/self-serve and sales-assisted motions.
  • Experience owning and allocating a meaningful budget, including making decisions about seven-figure investments and being accountable for results.
  • A track record of moving revenue and pipeline numbers, not just launching campaigns.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency through building workflows, agents, prompts, or internal tools that changed how the candidate works; the candidate must be prepared to explain what was built and what it replaced.
  • Experience taking a channel from zero to one.
  • Ability to present growth performance and investment tradeoffs to a leadership team.
  • Strong analytical and editorial skills.
  • Experience owning or working closely with an SEO program, and a point of view on how AI search changes it.
  • Ability to work autonomously in an ambiguous area that is still being defined.
  • Ability to set strategy and work through details.
Responsibilities
  • Build the plan to achieve growth targets across self-serve annual recurring revenue and sales pipeline.
  • Own a multi-million-dollar budget by setting investment across motions, channels, and programs, and forecasting against it.
  • Decide which investments to increase, reduce, or stop, and support each decision with numbers.
  • Present growth performance and learnings regularly to the leadership team.
  • Partner with sales and leadership to define ideal customer profiles and create campaigns that win deals, and own the feedback loop that informs future work.
  • Own end-to-end execution across paid and organic acquisition channels.
  • Build and own answer engine optimization and AI search as a first-class channel.
  • Own lifecycle strategy across onboarding, activation, engagement, cross-sell, and win-back.
  • Build systems for AI-assisted research, content production, competitive monitoring, funnel analysis, and reporting.
  • Use agents and automation to do work that would otherwise require additional headcount or an agency.
  • Define hypotheses, success metrics, and testing methodology, and share learnings about what worked and what did not.
  • Own outcome metrics, including pipeline and revenue, and efficiency metrics, including customer acquisition cost and payback period.
  • Build reporting that gives the team a clear view of key growth drivers.
