About the Job

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain PERT/sequencing and additional constraints.
  • Create and maintain Standard Line Balancing (SLB) and product-specific Line Balancing (PLB) to enable SLB adherence, for example through Production Pace Control (PPC in ACA/AH) or SQCDP (in ADS).
  • Perform Standard Line Balancing for each industrial standard (Batch/Step: rank or date of design change), by mission package or, optionally, full scope by category (light/medium/heavy), and transfer it to the ERP tool for primary demand.
  • Ensure the appropriate competence level of SLB users and stakeholders.
  • Support methodology, process, and AOS bricks related to SLB.
  • Support digital tools, especially for SLB.
  • Promote SLB usage to end users.
  • Reduce efficiency loss by identifying, analyzing, and drumbeating red spaces, and identifying, analyzing, and eradicating white spaces.
  • Propose improvements based on gap analysis, such as reliable operation sequencing, time allocation per operation, and spent time versus time at work-order level.
  • Propose improvements based on feedback loops, such as manufacturing performance (SLB adherence KPI), SLB MFT, Production Pace Control (PPC in ACA/AH), or SQCDP (in ADS).
  • Challenge time definitions to make them robust, reliable, and sustainable using the relevant methodology: MTM/STV in ACA, QTC (Quick Time Calculation) in AH, MTM/V3T/Clocking in ADS, or any of the three in Airbus Atlantic.
  • Propose improvements to routing granularity to meet efficiency and effectiveness targets.
  • Check ME Golden Rules and connect with the Process Engineer (PE in ACA) or Serial Process Engineer (SPE in AH/ADS).
  • Evaluate the industrial impacts of modifications.
  • Support the Industrial Architect in industrial set-up evolution analysis, such as IDP in ACA.
  • Translate industrial requirements to design and supply chain.
