Requirements
  • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, operations research, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in advanced statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, and operations research techniques to solve complex supply and business problems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience analyzing Army Rapid Acquisition and equipping requirements at the strategic level.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience conducting equipment gap analysis in support of Army Modernization efforts.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with the Decision Support Tool, Vantage, R/R Studio, and SACS.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Gather information from members of the team, division, or other organizations within the equipping enterprise who can contribute information about the problems and possible solutions.
  • Define business supply problems and use statistical analysis, simulations, predictive modeling, or other methods to analyze and develop practical solutions.
  • Research multiple options, determine high-value outcomes for levels of equipping and optimization, and recommend strategies to team leaders and other decision-makers.
  • Create reports, memorandums, and briefings to present to the Commanding General in order to explain findings and make recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
