About the job

Requirements
  • Be a qualified lawyer in Greece and/or England and Wales, or another relevant jurisdiction.
  • Have 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in corporate law, corporate governance, compliance, or privacy, ideally across more than one of these areas.
  • Have experience coordinating corporate matters across multiple entities or jurisdictions.
  • Have practical experience with KYC, AML, sanctions, or counterparty due diligence.
  • Have working knowledge of GDPR and privacy compliance.
  • Be comfortable running processes end to end, not just flagging issues.
  • Work confidently across Legal, Finance, HR, and Information Security, and with external counsel and corporate service providers.
  • Have excellent written and spoken English.
Responsibilities
  • Run day-to-day corporate administration for Group entities, maintaining corporate records, UBO and officer information, board and shareholder resolutions, statutory filings, and annual obligations, and coordinating with local counsel and corporate service providers on jurisdiction-specific requirements.
  • Support the VP Legal on restructurings, incorporations, dissolutions, post-acquisition integrations, and intercompany reorganizations, owning documentation and deadlines across workstreams.
  • Serve as a key Legal contact for KYC and sanctions matters by reviewing available information, coordinating screening processes, handling counterparty queries, supporting risk-based onboarding decisions, and escalating novel or higher-risk matters to the VP Legal as appropriate.
  • Support the Group's privacy and regulatory compliance frameworks, maintain relevant policies, and escalate specialist points to external counsel when needed.
  • Own and manage key legal operations, including the Group's contracting framework, legal library, templates, deviation tracking, and record-keeping; maintain trackers and guidance so routine matters can move efficiently without VP Legal involvement.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in corporate law, corporate governance, compliance, or privacy across more than one of these areas is ideally preferred.

About the company

The Signal Group provides commercial ship management for Aframax and MR oil tankers while also developing and investing in shipping-related software.
