Requirements
  • 5–7+ years combining solutions or industrial engineering, warehouse management, and field service or commissioning experience.
  • High working knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling workflows.
  • Strong training and instructional skills, with proven ability to interface directly with customers on site.
  • Demonstrated ability to find and implement solutions to customer problems that enhance their experience and usage of Slip Robotics systems.
  • High communication skills, comfortable delivering feedback both internally and externally.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments and translate customer workflows into a validated solution design.
  • Build and maintain each site's configuration sheet and configure the system to specification.
  • Own and execute the quality hand-off checklist before and during installation.
  • Own on-site installation and commissioning of the system.
  • Deliver hands-on operator training to the customer's team.
  • Own the post-launch support window, monitoring performance and resolving early issues.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact during launch, solving problems that improve the customer's experience and usage of the system.
  • Document and escalate gaps in specification, configuration, or training, and feed lessons learned back into assessment, configuration, and training materials.
  • Report site status, risks, and outcomes to the Launch Planner throughout the engagement.

The system includes SlipController for control, SlipView for live/historical data, and attachments like SlipBot+Rack and SlipBot+Bin to handle non-uniform items, all delivered via annual subscription that covers hardware, software, and data access. Slip Robotics launches SlipLift to automate loading of 20,000-pound freight across more routes

Atlanta-based Slip Robotics has launched SlipLift, a new platform extending autonomous trailer loading and unloading beyond short-haul routes to heavier freight, regional distribution and last-mile delivery. The system supports payloads up to 20,000 pounds and requires no facility, trailer or IT infrastructure modifications. SlipLift decouples robots from payloads, allowing fewer robots to service more docks whilst maintaining the speed and safety of Slip's existing SlipBot platform. The system uses customisable SlipCarriers that stack when empty to save space. Operators control the process via handheld devices whilst remaining outside trailers. The platform enables pre-staging of freight for last-mile operations and faster morning load-outs. Initial deployments are underway, with broader availability planned throughout the year. Slip Robotics' existing clients include John Deere, GE Appliances and Nissan.
