Mandarin Oriental, Geneva unfolds a season of Swiss artistry and couture-inspired celebrations. 20/10/2026 October 20, 2026 - A season of wonder unfolds at Mandarin Oriental, Geneva, where Swiss craftsmanship, couture-inspired creativity and festive magic come together in harmony. Bathed in shimmering gold and white accents, and brought to life through unique collaborations and unforgettable celebrations, the hotel invites guests and visitors to embrace the enchantment of winter in the heart of Geneva. Mandarin Oriental, Geneva x Kévin Germanier: A Sparkling Symphony This festive season, Mandarin Oriental, Geneva partners with acclaimed Swiss fashion designer Kévin Germanier, renowned for redefining sustainable fashion through a bold and glamorous couture lens. Inspired by the magic of the Swiss Alpine winter and the snow-covered landscapes surrounding the designer's mountain hometown, the collaboration transforms the hotel into a sparkling world of wonder. Kévin Germanier declares: "Bringing the world of Germanier to Mandarin Oriental, Geneva is both an inspiring and personal experience. Returning to Geneva, the city where my artistic journey began, makes this collaboration especially meaningful. We share a common passion for craftsmanship, excellence and individuality, each expressed through our own universe. I am delighted to bring this vision to life through a bold festive setting and to invite guests to discover a place where art, colour and wonder come together to celebrate the magic of the holiday season." Spectacular shimmering gold and white installations made with Germanier's signature upcycled material unfold throughout the lobby like a firework-inspired tree-shaped display, capturing the energy, light and excitement of the festive season. Blending Swiss craftsmanship with couture-inspired artistry, the décor creates an atmosphere of warmth, elegance and celebration. The experience extends at MO Bar, where Kévin Germanier transforms the ceiling into a dazzling festive sky with firework-inspired installations. Christian Wildhaber, Mandarin Oriental, Geneva's newly appointed General Manager, and originally from Switzerland as well, commented: "Kévin Germanier is one of the most exciting ambassadors of Swiss creativity on the international stage today. His ability to combine craftsmanship, innovation and sustainability resonates strongly with the values of Mandarin Oriental, Geneva. This collaboration is a celebration of Swiss creativity and savoir-faire, but above all, it is about creating something unexpected and memorable for our guests. Together, we want to show how creativity and a more thoughtful approach can transform the festive season into a truly unique experience." Festive Flavours at MO Bar Kévin Germanier's vibrant aesthetic takes over MO Bar with a collection of exclusive cocktails and pastries. At the heart of the experience, the signature cocktail, created by Head Bartender Christophe Pinto, celebrates colour in motion. Vodka, bergamot liqueur and a citrus-verbena infusion are elevated by layers of pineapple, raspberry and matcha powders inspired by the vibrant world of the designer. Crafted using repurposed citrus peels, it also reflects a thoughtful approach to sustainability. Its alcohol-free counterpart pairs coconut, lemon and hazelnut with a Swiss-made alcohol-free gin from Winterthur, echoing the layered artistry of haute couture while championing local sourcing. The festive experience extends to the pastry trolley, where Kévin Germanier's creative vision comes to life through seasonal creations made by the hotel's pastry chef Michael Perrichon and his team. A deconstructed Mont-Blanc combines chestnut, meringue and blackcurrant, while a vanilla mousse with hazelnut biscuit, pear, cranberry and buckwheat crunch echoes the elegance of a couture silhouette. Festive menu at MO Bar: available from 16 November to 10 January The Artistry of Festive Pastry Discover two exquisite Yule Logs created by Michael Perrichon in collaboration with Julien Dugourd, celebrated French pastry chef and Executive Pastry Chef of Mandarin Oriental, Paris. Inspired by the delicate draping and sculptural lines of haute couture, each yule log is conceived as a statement piece. The first creation celebrates the timeless pairing of chocolate and hazelnut, bringing together a rich chocolate composition with velvety vanilla crémeux and a delicate honey biscuit. The second takes a brighter, more vibrant direction, built around the freshness of lemon with layers of almond crisp, lemon confit, tender lemon biscuit, lemon marmalade and silky lemon crémeux. The celebration concludes with the hotel's Galette des Rois. A delicious twist on the beloved French classic, this year's elegant creation combines flaky croissant pastry with traditional almond frangipane and an irresistible flowing pecan praline centre. Christmas yule logs available from 15 December to 2 January at CHF 79 each for 6 people Available online (pre-order to be made 48 hours in advance) and at Globus King's Brioche available from 26 December to 15 January at CHF 42 for 6 people Winter Flavours and Festive Gatherings at Ottolenghi Geneva This winter, Ottolenghi Geneva celebrates the richness of the season with an exclusive menu imagined by Chef Maxime Martin. Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes expands to 43 residences. By Newsdesk Oct 12, 2026 10:00am Mandarin Oriental's private villa rental collection now stands at 43 homes in 18 destinations after its latest round of additions, most of them in the Mediterranean. Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes is entering the Croatian island of Lopud and Porto Heli, Greece, for the first time, along with Tuscany and Sardinia. This is the second major expansion this year for the luxe vacation home platform. Italy accounts for much of the growth. Florence gets two homes: Villa Petrucci, within the city, and Dimora Ghirlandaio, in the hills of Impruneta, with pietra serena and terracotta interiors and views that reach the Florentine skyline. Il Cellese, a stone house on a private Chianti estate, looks out over vineyards. In Sardinia, Villa Ada and Villa Marzia both sit directly on the beach. Puglia, already in the portfolio, picks up a pair of restored trulli, Trullo delle Dame and Trullo dei Pumi. Spain sees the largest single addition, with seven villas in Marbella. Some are in the gated enclave of La Zagaleta and others in Nueva Andalucía's Golf Valley, including frontline positions on Las Brisas Golf Club. The French Riviera lineup also grows. In Asia, the collection adds Tatvani, a private estate in Chiang Rai, Thailand, where teak villas are set among rice fields with mountain views. Every home in the program is individually and privately owned. Stays come with a dedicated concierge who builds itineraries, private chef service, and daily housekeeping. "As the portfolio evolves, our focus remains on purposeful growth; introducing new destinations that broaden our global reach while preserving the intimacy, discretion and exceptional service our guests expect. This next phase reflects both the strength of the collection and our ambition for its continued expansion," Philip Leighton, head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes, said in prepared remarks.

These additions mark an important milestone in the evolution of the collection, introducing Lopud, Porto Heli, Florence, Chianti, Sardinia and Marbella as entirely new locations, alongside further expansion in Puglia and the French Riviera. The expansion introduces Mandarin Oriental to Lopud, Croatia and Porto Heli, Greece for the first time. Florence joins the collection with Villa Petrucci and Dimora Ghirlandaio. Villa Petrucci is an elegant private retreat set within the historic Renaissance city, framing sweeping views across Florence. The villa combines cultural immersion with discreet luxury, with interiors completed following a five-year restoration led by acclaimed architect and designer Massimo Adario. Complementing this, Dimora Ghirlandaio is nestled in the rolling Tuscan hills of Impruneta, and offers an immersive blend of artistic heritage, original pietra serena and terracotta interiors, and panoramic views across Florence's iconic skyline and Chianti hills. Completing the collection in Tuscany, Il Cellese is set within a private Chianti estate, combining traditional stone architecture, vineyard views, and understated Italian elegance. The expansion also includes Villa Ada and Villa Marzia in Sardinia, rare beachfront properties with direct coastal access and uninterrupted sea views on one of the Mediterranean's most sought-after islands. In southern Italy, the portfolio further strengthens its presence in Puglia with the addition of two authentic trulli, Trullo delle Dame and Trullo dei Pumi. Each has been thoughtfully restored to honour the region's architectural heritage while delivering contemporary comfort and privacy. Marbella remains a key growth destination for the collection, marked by the introduction of seven new, design-led villas. Each property has been curated for its refined aesthetic and its expression of modern Andalusian living. Among the new additions are villas set in La Zagaleta and Nueva Andalucía's Golf Valley, including frontline positions overlooking the prestigious Las Brisas Golf Club. Expanding further into Asia, Tatvani in Chiang Rai introduces an entirely private estate set within the lush landscapes of northern Thailand, where a collection of teak-crafted villas is immersed in rice fields and mountain scenery, offering a deeply personalised retreat defined by nature, cultural immersion, and complete seclusion. Each Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Home is individually and privately owned and has been meticulously selected for its desirable location, design, and ability to deliver Mandarin Oriental's legendary service, including a dedicated concierge to curate tailored itineraries, a private chef service to craft bespoke menus, daily housekeeping, and luxurious amenities. This latest expansion reflects Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes' ambitious growth strategy, with continued focus on broadening its geographic reach while maintaining an uncompromising approach to quality and service for today's discerning traveller. As the portfolio evolves, its focus remains on purposeful growth; introducing new destinations that broaden its global reach while preserving the intimacy, discretion and exceptional service its guests expect. This next phase reflects both the strength of the collection and its ambition for its continued expansion. Philip Leighton, Head of Mandarin Oriental Exceptional Homes
