About the Company

Butler Hospitality

Cloud kitchen F&B service for hotels

Butler Hospitality ran cloud-kitchen delivery for hotels by taking over underused hotel kitchens and turning them into centralized production hubs that prepare and deliver meals to a network of partner hotels. For hotels with existing restaurants, it managed F&B operations; for limited-service hotels, it offered a virtual room service option with direct-to-room billing through hotel systems and delivery by Butler staff in about 30 minutes. Its strategy aimed to achieve economies of scale by pooling demand across properties and offering higher quality meals at lower costs, supported by a direct sales model sharing revenue with partner hotels. The company grew to serve hundreds of hotels in multiple cities, including major brands, before ceasing operations in May 2022 due to factors like COVID-19 pressures and internal challenges.
