Requirements
  • A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, as indicated by the MD/DO title.
  • Board certification or board eligibility in urology.
  • A Michigan medical license or eligibility for medical licensure in Michigan.
  • Compliance with required measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella vaccination or lab-confirmed immunity.
  • Receipt of a flu vaccine during the hiring year and annually thereafter, unless an approved medical or religious exemption applies.
Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized, exceptional care to patients as part of an established interdisciplinary urology team.
  • Participate in shared regional weekday and weekend call on a 1:3 rotation from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Use the fully functional operating room and established referral network to provide urologic services.
  • Coordinate with Munson Medical Center for interfacility transfers.
  • Work with advanced practice provider and hospitalist support for patient care and in-hospital admissions.
  • Use Oracle Health as the electronic health record system.
