Responsibilities
  • Support ecosystem partners, including enterprise solutions providers, XR technology partners, and device original equipment manufacturers, in creating solutions using Qualcomm XR technology.
  • Design and support partner demonstrations and proof-of-concept or pilot deployments.
  • Work with multiple technical and product teams to architect solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Act as a liaison and point of escalation between the XR engineering team and ecosystem partner teams.
  • Design, build, and test XR solutions end to end.

Saudi HUMAIN unveils AI laptop built for future computing. August 22, 2026 Saudi Arabia's HUMAIN has introduced a new artificial intelligence laptop designed to run advanced AI models directly on the device. Unlike traditional computers that depend heavily on cloud services, the new AI computer focuses on local AI processing and smarter user interactions. The Public Investment Fund (PIF)-owned technology company has spent the past 12 months developing its next-generation AI PC with Qualcomm. The project aims to create a new approach to personal computing by combining powerful hardware with agent-based artificial intelligence. The laptop integrates a central processing unit, graphics processing unit, and neural processing unit. Therefore, it can handle AI workloads locally while reducing dependence on external cloud systems. Furthermore, the device focuses on replacing traditional app-based workflows with an intent-driven computing experience. Instead of manually opening multiple applications, users could describe their goals and allow AI agents to complete different tasks automatically. A new direction for personal computing. HUMAIN has not yet revealed the laptop's complete specifications, pricing, release date, or manufacturing details. However, more details are expected during the LEAP technology conference in Riyadh from August 31 to September 3. Meanwhile, technology reports suggest the device could be the Horizon Ultra, which may become the most advanced model in HUMAIN's planned laptop range. The lineup is also expected to include the student-focused Horizon S and enterprise-focused Horizon Pro. Qualcomm appoints Sergio Buniac to lead mobile, compute and personal AI division

Qualcomm has appointed Sergio Buniac as executive vice president and group general manager of Mobile, Compute and Personal AI. Buniac brings over 30 years of experience from Motorola to the role, which covers Qualcomm's mobile, computing, and personal AI product areas. Qualcomm's $3.1B Modular buy open-sources Mojo and adds 6 chip vendors to AI platform

Qualcomm secures orders from two hyperscalers as non-handset revenue aims to offset Apple losses
