- A Master’s degree in Social Work is required.
- A North Carolina Social Work license is required.
- Candidates must be fully licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker or be a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
- Candidates must manage several tasks simultaneously in an organized manner and function effectively under pressure.
- Candidates must teach staff and patients, give and receive constructive criticism, and remain flexible.
- Candidates must communicate effectively with people across a wide range of ages, educational backgrounds, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Candidates must maintain the clinical and professional competency levels required for age-specific populations.
- Candidates must understand DSM-IV diagnoses and reimbursement procedures and practices.
- Candidates must have an appropriate level of Crisis Intervention and Basic Life Support.
- Provide outpatient behavioral services in the clinic.
- Experience in behavioral services and substance abuse is preferred.
