  • Comfort using case-management software and digital workflows, and willingness to adopt AI-based technology and changing standard operating procedures.
  • Professional, empathetic, client-focused communication skills.
  • Reliable transportation and ability to work on-site in Henderson, Nevada.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of pre-litigation personal injury matters from post-intake case development through pre-litigation settlement.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of the facts, liability, injuries, treatment, insurance coverage, damages, and strategic posture of every assigned case.
  • Develop and update case plans based on each client's circumstances; monitor deadlines, milestones, outstanding tasks, and delays; and identify risks, missing information, and strategic opportunities.
  • Advance cases consistently in accordance with firm key performance indicators and standard operating procedures; maintain accurate and current records; complete timely client follow-up; monitor treatment and prevent gaps in care; obtain and evaluate insurance coverage information; review and finalize demands; and progress cases toward resolution without unnecessary delay.
  • Escalate legal, ethical, medical, coverage, or valuation concerns to the supervising attorney and prepare matters for attorney review, demand submission, negotiation, settlement, or transfer to litigation.
  • Guide clients through the medical-treatment phase; monitor treatment, diagnoses, referrals, imaging, specialist care, procedures, and recovery; and review medical records, diagnostic reports, billing ledgers, treatment summaries, and provider recommendations.
  • Identify treatment gaps, missed appointments, unresolved referrals, and documentation deficiencies; communicate the importance of treatment compliance and follow-up; and help coordinate with medical providers when records, bills, referrals, or treatment updates are needed.
  • Evaluate whether medical documentation supports reported injuries and claimed damages; identify when attorney input is needed on treatment strategy or case value; and maintain timely medical-management notes in the case-management system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; provide meaningful status updates; explain the pre-litigation process, treatment expectations, insurance procedures, and next steps; respond to questions; set appropriate expectations; document important communications; and refer concerns requiring attorney involvement.
  • Communicate complex legal and medical information clearly in English and Spanish, while maintaining empathy and encouraging client accountability and cooperation.
  • Communicate with liability and first-party insurance adjusters; obtain policy information, declaration pages, and available coverage limits; follow up with carriers; and use approved third-party services when needed to obtain policy-limit or coverage information.
  • Monitor liability decisions, coverage questions, recorded-statement requests, and claim developments; document adjuster communications; and escalate disputed liability, inadequate coverage, bad-faith concerns, or complex insurance issues to the supervising attorney.
  • Use the firm's AI-supported demand process to generate draft demand packages; review drafts for factual, medical, financial, and legal accuracy; verify treatment chronology, injuries, diagnoses, medical expenses, lost wages, damages, exhibits, and supporting documents; and identify missing records, bills, reports, photographs, wage documentation, or other evidence.
  • Correct errors or incomplete information in demand packages, submit them to the supervising attorney for approval, finalize and send approved demands to the appropriate carrier, and track demand deadlines and adjuster response dates.
  • Review settlement offers and supporting case information; communicate with adjusters about offers, counteroffers, and outstanding issues; negotiate personal injury claims under attorney supervision; and prepare case summaries and recommendations for attorney review.
  • Assess the relationship among liability, causation, treatment, damages, coverage, liens, and settlement value; communicate authorized offers and settlement developments to clients; document negotiations; follow attorney direction on authority and strategy; and escalate matters for litigation evaluation when appropriate.
  • Work with Case Coordinators to assist clients with property-damage matters, including vehicle repairs, rental vehicles when coverage is available, total-loss documentation, and communication with insurance carriers; escalate disputed valuation, coverage, or liability matters.
  • Continue client communication after pre-litigation settlement; coordinate with the accounting and disbursement team on final settlement distribution; keep clients informed about lien resolution and disbursement timing; complete case-management tasks before closure; and transfer cases to the litigation team with clear handoff information when a lawsuit is necessary.
  • Use EvenUp's AI-powered case-management platform, automated workflows, voice-agent processes, task reminders, and evolving standard operating procedures; independently verify AI-generated work; adapt to system changes; maintain complete and accurate CRM data; use technology to improve efficiency and client service; and provide workflow feedback.
  • Work independently, meet performance expectations, and use AI and automation to improve efficiency without sacrificing accuracy or professional judgment.

  • Experience independently managing 70 or more active cases.
  • Experience managing motor vehicle accident claims from intake through settlement.
  • Experience with medical-management strategy.
  • Experience reviewing demands or AI-generated demand packages.
