What We're Looking For:

The purpose of this internship is to prepare students for entry into the business world by providing a thorough understanding of the various functions of the Zebra Technologies organization. The program is designed to provide students with experiences that provide insights into a career with Zebra. Students will be positioned for success with training and hands-on experiences, invited to social and development activities, and provided a professional mentor relationship.

The People Service Center serves as the central operational hub for HR administration, employee support, and transactional excellence. As a core branch of People Shared Services, the PSC is dedicated to streamlining the employee lifecycle, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality, efficient HR support to workforce members, managers, and external partners.
The department acts as the first line of support and the operational engine behind key HR processes, ensuring that business operations run smoothly and compliant guidelines are met consistently across all regions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop an AI-Powered Case Playbook: Build AI prompts/agents using Gemini that guides agents through complex, non-standard cases.
• Translating Strategy into Action: This phase shifts our focus from process mapping to active development, building tangible AI-driven tools designed to support daily operations.
• Empowering Specialists with Smart Playbooks: Prototyping an interactive, AI-powered case playbook will provide agents with step-by-step guidance to navigate complex, non-standard HR cases.
• Enhancing Communication Speed and Quality: Developing optimized prompt templates will allow the team to instantly generate empathetic, highly accurate, and policy-compliant draft responses for cases..
• Measuring Time-to-Resolution Impact: This development cycle directly targets our key performance metrics, establishing the groundwork to significantly lower ticket handling times and raise employee satisfaction.

This position requires hybrid work (3 days/week in office) in the Lincolnshire, IL office.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate/MBA degree program in Human Resources, Management, Business or similar
• Must have an anticipated graduation date between May 2027 - May 2028
• Must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future

• Technical Skills – Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic familiarity with technology solutions)
• Integrity – Commitment to ethical behavior and confidentiality

Salary: USD $25.00-$33.00/hour
