About the Job

Requirements

  • Five years of experience in Cloud Security, DevSecOps, or Systems Engineering roles.
  • Foundational experience working in multi-cloud environments; deep Google Cloud Platform expertise is preferred, with working knowledge of Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
  • Hands-on experience operating infrastructure security platforms such as Wiz, Orca, Prisma Cloud, Lacework, or Google Cloud Security Command Center.
  • Strong proficiency with Infrastructure as Code platforms such as Terraform and Pulumi, and GitOps deployment workflows; ability to evaluate and configure IaC scanners such as Checkov, Tfsec, or KICS.
  • Deep understanding of Docker and container security and Kubernetes architectures such as GKE and EKS, including runtime security, network policies, and workload identity.
  • Understanding of how infrastructure configurations and vulnerability management map to security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks, or NIST.

Responsibilities

  • Perform continuous security scanning across cloud posture and workloads, and review, validate, and prioritize flaws and misconfigurations based on CVSS scores, real-world exploitability, and infrastructure network exposure.
  • Own and optimize Cloud Security Posture Management, Kubernetes Security Posture Management, and Data Security Posture Management tools to ensure uniform compliance, prevent data leakage, and maintain hardened baselines.
  • Configure, tune, and embed automated Infrastructure-as-Code security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines to identify architectural risks before deployment to production.
  • Manage continuous vulnerability scanning for container images, registries, and virtual machines, partnering with SRE and Platform teams to build automated base-image patching and rolling-upgrade pipelines.
  • Track, document, and manage infrastructure vulnerabilities according to compliance service-level agreements, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS; maintain audit-ready evidence of remediation timelines and exception approvals.
  • Escalate and report critical production exposures directly to the CISO and senior leadership, and maintain dashboards and alerting mechanisms that visualize infrastructure risk trends and cloud compliance posture.
  • Partner with SRE, DevOps, and Platform teams to provide infrastructure mitigation paths; assist in writing, reviewing, or modifying cloud configuration templates to resolve security flaws.
  • Assist Incident Response teams during active cloud or host-level breaches, and help develop and implement immediate cloud, network, or IAM configuration countermeasures to contain threats.

Desired Qualifications

  • Deep Google Cloud Platform expertise is preferred.

About the Company

Replit

Builds an AI agent that creates and hosts apps

Replit runs a browser-based platform where people build software by describing it in plain English, and its AI agent handles every step from writing the code to putting the finished app online. After launching Replit Agent in 2024, it became one of the best-known names in vibe coding, the practice of building software from plain-language prompts. Users chat with the agent from a browser or phone as it plans, writes, and tests each change, then publish websites and mobile apps with built-in databases on Replit's own hosting. Individuals pay monthly subscriptions that include AI usage credits, and companies buy enterprise plans with added security controls. Replit was founded in 2016 and is based in Foster City, California.
