Requirements
  • Proven experience in account management or business-to-business sales, preferably in hospitality, travel, or leisure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including comfort interacting with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to conduct quarterly business reviews and produce data-based analyses.
  • Analytical skills and proficiency with business intelligence tools and Salesforce.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to resolve problems quickly while balancing customer satisfaction with company objectives.
  • Creative, business-oriented approach to identifying growth opportunities.
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Positive, proactive, adaptable, resilient, and collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain durable, trust-based relationships with partners and serve as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor.
  • Provide regular partner updates, develop strong interpersonal relationships, and proactively engage clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
  • Make initial personal contact within one to two weeks after a portfolio is assigned.
  • Plan and conduct quarterly business reviews for priority accounts and groups.
  • Own customer retention and grow account value through effective relationship management.
  • Identify and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Develop personalized business reviews with benchmarks to maximize results for stakeholders.
  • Apply the 80/20 rule to prioritize key partners and achieve quarterly contractual objectives.
  • Contact priority partners five times per quarter and conduct detailed business reviews with benchmarks.
  • Handle and resolve customer issues quickly and effectively while balancing satisfaction with company policies and objectives.
  • Respond to partner requests the same day or confirm receipt when a solution is not yet available.
  • Resolve issues using appropriate processes and training resources.
  • Keep partners informed and proactively follow up with relevant departments.
  • Analyze customer data to identify growth opportunities and make recommendations based on customer needs and market trends.
  • Review business intelligence reports weekly and analyze partner performance key performance indicators.
  • Make actionable recommendations based on data and market trends.
  • Participate in recovery plans and strategic portfolio analyses.
  • Manage multiple customer accounts using structured weekly and daily schedules, with rigor in communications and contract terms.
  • Use Salesforce tools and tasks for prioritization and complete all required training.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product teams.
  • Share field feedback and participate in at least one cross-functional project annually.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Participate in trade shows and events when possible and propose innovative partnership formats.
