Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation and execution of the Resonetics Enterprise Excellence playbook at the local site for all organizational levels.
  • Set expectations and coach use of SQCDT boards through tier meetings and weekly SQCDT meetings.
  • Lead reviews and coach 8-Step Problem Solving and White, Green, and Black Belt training.
  • Support definition of site value streams and organizational support design around those value streams.
  • Define metrics and data sources for use on SQCDT boards and ensure the boards use data essential to continuous improvement.
  • Work with the site Director of Operations and stakeholders to identify improvement areas and lead Kaizen and problem-solving activities for site priorities.
  • Deliver cost savings of at least three times the annual salary through labor, scrap, and overhead improvements.
  • Identify and participate in Solve-It risks and opportunities across multiple company projects, and generate and present Enterprise Excellence proposals for stakeholder review.
  • Represent the site on the Enterprise Excellence Steering Committee and contribute to the Enterprise Management System.
  • Serve as a site Subject Matter Expert for mining, analyzing, and summarizing operational metrics representing Enterprise Excellence key performance indicators.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business procedures, and implement policies and procedures that improve day-to-day operations.
  • Lead coordination and integration of Enterprise Excellence efforts among different company sites, including participation in Kaizens.
  • Serve as the site-certified Lean Black Belt and lead the Resonetics Enterprise Excellence certification program.

Brian Hanley named president of Applied Plastics.

Brian Hanley named president of Applied Plastics. New hire most recently worked at Resonetics. August 13, 2026 Managing Editor Applied Plastics, has recruited Brian Hanley to join the company as president. CEO Tom Barrett will continue in his role through the end of the year and will work closely with Hanley during his transition into the business. "Brian brings the right experience to Applied Plastics," Barrett said. "He has spent more than two decades building and scaling medtech businesses, and he understands both the engineering and the commercial sides of this work. I'll continue as CEO through the end of 2026, and I'll remain involved with the business through my role as an operating partner at Vance Street Capital." The financing comprises $220 million in term loans and $10.6 million in revolving credit commitments. Cahill represented the lead arrangers in the transaction. Arcline Investment Management has agreed to sell Resolution Medical, a Minnesota-based manufacturer of medical devices and components, to Resonetics. Financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2012, Resolution Medical produces devices for medical technology end markets including structural heart, cardiology and vascular, electrophysiology and neuromodulation therapies. The Fridley-based company specialises in manufacturing medical devices and components for these sectors.
