  • A high school diploma or GED is required, although relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the credential.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or another pre-approved accredited certification program is required.
  • Knowledge of regulations, quality assurance, procedures, and quality patient care is required.
  • Successful completion of department-specific and/or hospital-required training courses is required.
  • Ability to treat patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with supervised patient treatments under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist.
  • Maintain the physical therapy department in a clean and orderly manner.
Desired Qualifications
  • Graduation from a technical program is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a physical therapy clinic is preferred.
