Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Build and implement strategic technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions and support sales quota attainment.
  • Understand customer business requirements and position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the Palo Alto Networks portfolio.
  • Drive customer adoption of Palo Alto Networks solutions by helping customers achieve productivity, operational efficiency, security efficacy, and flexibility to innovate.
  • Conduct discovery to understand and articulate the technical, operational, and commercial imperatives of prospects and customers.
  • Work with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams to support customer implementation and solution adoption.
  • Deliver customer-specific presentations, demos, technical engagements, and workshops that communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • Lead technical validation efforts based on best practices to achieve technical wins in assigned opportunities.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and coordinate Specialists, Channel Resources, and Customer Support resources to deliver a cohesive customer strategy.
  • Promote end-to-end solutions involving Palo Alto Networks and partner professional services to accelerate customer value realization.
  • Differentiate Palo Alto Networks against the competitive cybersecurity landscape.
  • Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships with key personas to build and advance security architecture transformation roadmaps.

The drop continues a pattern where strong results trigger selloffs due to stretched valuations. Bank of America took the opposite view, recommending investors buy the dip. The firm noted that much of the recent growth stems from two acquisitions: the $25 billion purchase of CyberArk in February and the roughly $3.4 billion deal for Chronosphere. The company posted a GAAP net loss of $282 million for the quarter, driven by fair-value changes on convertible notes and integration costs.
