Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • DEUTZ launched GEREON series production in July 2026, proving industrial scale.
  • ARX secured a January 2026 Ukraine order for several hundred additional GEREON systems.
  • ARX Industries launched in June 2026, targeting thousands of Rys Pro units in year one.

What critics are saying

  • Ukraine demand concentrates revenue; any procurement freeze would hit ARX immediately.
  • DEUTZ and Supacat can absorb integration economics, shrinking ARX's software premium.
  • Battlefield UGVs face brutal reliability, jamming, and battlefield-loss attrition; one bad failure kills trust.

What makes ARX Robotics unique

  • Mithra OS retrofits legacy vehicles, locking ARX into modernization budgets and deployments.
  • DEUTZ partnership gives ARX drive systems, energy infrastructure, and Ulm series-production access.
  • Supacat MoU ties ARX autonomy to UK vehicle integration and through-life support.

German-Ukrainian JV ARX Industries to mass-produce battle-tested Rys Pro unmanned ground vehicles for Ukraine

German company ARX Robotics and Ukraine's Roboneers have formed ARX Industries, a joint venture to mass-produce unmanned ground vehicles. The partnership will manufacture the battle-tested Rys Pro UGV across facilities in Germany and Ukraine, supporting Ukraine's target of supplying 50,000 UGVs to its military in 2026. ARX Industries aims to produce thousands of Rys Pro units in its first year, scaling to tens of thousands annually. The vehicles will handle casualty evacuation, frontline logistics, mining operations and combat roles. The joint venture integrates frontline feedback directly into production cycles. Supported by Ukrainian and German governments under the Build with Ukraine initiative, the partnership strengthens European defence manufacturing capacity whilst delivering critical equipment to Ukrainian forces.
