Requirements
  • A high school diploma.
  • One to two years of lending institution experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to use computers and adapt to new systems.
Responsibilities
  • Report to the Team Lead, Underwriting.
  • Provide support to the Mortgage Underwriters to ensure all follow-up on files is completed and all conditions are met prior to closing.
  • Follow up on commitments and request specific documents.
  • Verify the accuracy of specifications on mortgage documents.
  • Ensure all conditions of mortgage approval are met.
  • Route risk-involved matters to the Underwriter for evaluation.
  • Analyze land titles, purchase contracts, and appraisal reports for inconsistencies.
  • Confirm all closing details, including dates, client information, and payment frequency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers of Bridgewater Bank and AMA to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  • Complete quality assurance audits on assigned files.
