Requirements
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
  • Previous merchandising, customer service, and/or retail experience is preferred.
  • Must be proficient using a personal Android or Apple device (smartphone or tablet) with GPS functionality to upload photos, report assignment data, and reference documents.
  • Must own a basic toolkit, including a multi-screwdriver, Torx security bit set, hammer, cordless drill, Allen wrench, box cutter, rubber mallet, socket set, needle-nose pliers, precision wire cutters, crescent wrench, Easy-Off, putty knife, microfiber cleaning cloth, and Goo Gone.
  • Must complete paid online training courses within the required timeline before working in-store.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Must have flexible availability Monday through Friday from early morning to midday, with occasional weekend hours.
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
  • Must be able to drive on behalf of the company in compliance with company guidelines and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to travel within a designated market up to a 60-mile radius.
  • Must regularly stand, walk, bend over, reach overhead, crouch, kneel, balance, grasp, push or pull, talk and/or hear, and drive.
  • Must regularly lift and carry 40 pounds or more.
  • Must climb a ladder more than 10 feet tall.
  • Must occasionally travel by flight or other modes of transportation.
Responsibilities
  • Travel to assigned retail stores to conduct visits within the assigned territory.
  • Audit, maintain, and install consumer electronics displays and products, including TVs, tablets, headphones, speakers, printers, and phones.
  • Occasionally partner with team members to complete two- or three-person projects, such as appliance or TV installations.
  • Build and maintain positive in-store relationships.
  • Complete assignments as directed by the manager.
  • Ensure reporting is completed on time from a personal mobile device.
  • Complete Channel Partner certification and training requirements to provide in-store support and service for Apple devices, if applicable.
  • Schedule and complete work according to CP Standards and Expectations provided during onboarding.
  • Receive materials at home or pick them up at FedEx and take them to retail locations as requested.
  • Perform other tasks as requested by management.

Channel Partners acquires Retail Merchandising Services, combining 40 years of in-store expertise with real-time retail intelligence platform

Channel Partners Solutions has acquired Retail Merchandising Services, a national merchandising company headquartered in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The deal combines RMS's 40 years of in-store execution experience with Channel Partners' OpenSy™ field intelligence platform, which provides real-time visit verification and AI-powered photo validation. Founded in 1985, RMS operates across all 50 US states and holds Target Preferred Partner designation, granting backroom certification and direct inventory access. The company will continue serving existing clients whilst integrating Channel Partners' technology stack throughout 2026 and 2027. The combined organisation will deliver retail execution services across merchandising, audits, experiential marketing and warehousing. RMS operates using a W-2 employee model and serves brands across consumer electronics, grocery, health and beauty categories.
