  • Demonstrated ability to identify root causes, challenge assumptions constructively and drive cross-functional corrective actions through execution.
  • Experience working in a global, multi-site manufacturing environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
  • Own the global Operations Finance performance cadence across manufacturing sites, including standardized KPI definitions, weekly and monthly performance reviews, root-cause analysis, corrective-action tracking and verification of financial results.
  • Provide forward-looking visibility into performance, risks and opportunities and ensure consistent follow-through across the Operations organization.
  • Partner with Operations to drive measurable improvement in manufacturing cost, productivity and quantify their impact on EBITDA.
  • Identify root causes of unfavorable performance, distinguish structural from temporary issues, establish measurable improvement targets with Operations, and track the resulting financial impact through execution.
  • Drive visibility and improvement in Operations-related working capital and cash performance, including raw material, work-in-process and finished goods inventory, inventory turns, excess and obsolete material, and material and supplier commitments.

  • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support product, customer and site profitability, cost-to-serve, make-or-buy decisions, sourcing strategy, capacity allocation and utilization, and manufacturing footprint and supply-chain strategy.
  • Ensure significant operational decisions are supported by clear analysis of profit and loss, working capital, cash flow, return on investment and sensitivity implications.
  • Partner with Operations to evaluate productivity, cost reduction, sourcing, automation, footprint and supply-chain improvement initiatives.
  • Establish credible financial baselines, validate expected benefits and develop appropriate financial metrics before initiatives are approved.
  • Track initiatives through implementation and verify that expected cost savings, productivity gains, working capital improvements and other financial benefits are realized in actual performance.
  • Lead the financial component of the annual operating plan and periodic forecasts for Global Operations, ensuring key operational assumptions are appropriately reflected in the company’s financial outlook.
  • Lead the manufacturing and facilities capital planning and approval process, ensuring proposed investments are supported by robust financial analysis and providing a consistent financial framework to prioritize competing initiatives.
  • Lead medium- and long-term business modeling to evaluate alternative manufacturing and capacity solutions to support growth, including organic investments, partnerships and potential mergers and acquisitions.
  • Assess implications for manufacturing footprint, cost structure, capital requirements and financial returns.
  • Provide functional leadership to plant finance teams and establish consistent financial reporting, costing methodologies, performance measurement and financial discipline across global manufacturing locations.
  • Oversee manufacturing finance activities including standard cost setting, inventory valuation, overhead absorption and manufacturing variance analysis, while maintaining strong financial controls over inventory, fixed assets, manufacturing costs and operational spending.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant and/or Master of Business Administration preferred.

OmniOn Power launches Osprey bus converters with 98.5% efficiency for AI data centres

OmniOn Power has launched new high-efficiency Osprey bus converters designed for AI data centres and high-density computing applications. The QODN series includes four models ranging from 1,300W to 2,600W, delivering peak efficiencies exceeding 98.4%. The converters provide 48/54V-to-12V conversion in a quarter-brick footprint. According to Philip Zuk, SVP and GM of OmniOn Power's AI and Data Centre business, the new series offers up to 1% efficiency improvement over previous-generation modules without requiring additional board space. Key features include a 40-60V input range, regulated 12V output, integrated PMBus interface, and operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The converters are designed to address power conversion and thermal challenges as AI server racks scale to higher power densities.

Omnion Power Expands Dlynx Iiitm Family With 15, 20, And 30-Amp Fplx-Series Dc/Dc Converters

New FPLX-series point-of-load (POL) modules provide design flexibility with compact 10 millimeter (mm) by 10 mm footprints. High efficiency and power density make the FPLX-series DC/DC converters ideal for a wide variety of networking, data center, telecom, and industrial applications.Power density continues to play an essential role in printed circuit board (PCB) design across industries and applications. With increased computing capacity demands to support today’s connected and fast-paced world, board designers are challenged with packing as many value-added features as possible onto ever-shrinking PCBs. To address power density and efficiency challenges, OmniOn PowerTM has added new FPLX-series DC/DC converters to its DLynx IIITM family of non-isolated point-of-load (POL) modules. The new 15-amp (A) FPLX015, 20A FPLX020 and 30A FPLX030 modules feature compact 10 mm by 10 mm footprints and provide power densities of 97 A/in2, 129 A/in2 and 194 A/in2, respectively. The common footprint of all three modules enables design flexibility, allowing customers to easily upgrade or downgrade the current throughout the design process to meet the specific needs of end applications
