Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree, or an RN license with current Louisiana state licensure at the time of hire and one year of related work experience, or an LPN license with current Louisiana state licensure at the time of hire and four years of related work experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of protocol requirements and good clinical practices as set forth by federal regulations.
Responsibilities
  • Manage all aspects of conducting clinical trials.
  • Act as a liaison between the patient, investigator, Institutional Review Board, and sponsor as a primary resource for the protocol.
  • Screen, enroll, and follow study patients under supervision, ensuring protocol compliance and close patient monitoring.
  • Continue the required learning process in this second-level position to advance toward a Clinical Research Coordinator III position.
  • Maintain responsibility for all data and source documentation, adverse event reporting, and complete regulatory files under direct supervision.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the Institutional Review Board submission process and requirements.
  • Knowledge of good clinical practices as set forth by federal regulations.
