Requirements

  • Ability to partner with finance system owners and administrators to drive change management, user acceptance testing, and successful rollouts.
  • Familiarity with finance operations workflows, including accounts payable, procurement, expenses, cards, and accounting close.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled products, automation, or applied machine learning.
  • Basic comfort with data concepts and systems integration, including application programming interfaces, extract-transform-load processes, structured query language, spreadsheets, and data quality.
  • Willingness to work in a hybrid arrangement in New York and spend time with customers; travel and flexibility are required.
Responsibilities
  • Run stakeholder interviews and workflow deep dives with Finance, Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Information Technology teams.
  • Map end-to-end processes and identify the underlying causes of pain points involving risk, cost, cycle time, compliance, and exceptions.
  • Identify opportunities for AI leverage, including intelligent intake, classification, routing, matching, and exception handling.
  • Translate qualitative input into problem statements, success metrics, constraints, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define deployment plans that balance speed, safety, and scalability from minimum viable product through iteration and rollout.
  • Partner with customer teams on change management, operating model updates, and adoption plans.
  • Work with Ramp engineers and AI builders to design and ship solutions for real customer workflows.
  • Specify data inputs, integrations, and governance needs, including systems of record, policy rules, and auditability.
  • Support evaluation of models and prompts against customer-specific edge cases and risk tolerance.
  • Synthesize learnings across customers into reusable patterns and product opportunities.
  • Write briefs for Product and Engineering describing customer needs, their importance, and recommended product development.
  • Advocate for scalable solutions that reduce custom work over time.
  • Present status, outcomes, and recommendations to operators and executives.
  • Quantify impact such as time saved, error reduction, improved compliance, and faster close, and connect it to business outcomes.
  • Create narratives, demos, and artifacts that make AI workflows understandable and trustworthy.

Ramp launches Router.com to cut AI costs by 40% through smart model routing

Ramp has launched Router.com, a platform that routes AI requests to the most cost-effective model whilst maintaining performance standards. The service connects to major AI providers including OpenAI, Anthropic, and SpaceXAI, with additional models from Nvidia, Kimi, DeepSeek, and others. Early customers have reduced inference costs by 40% on average. Ramp opens Toronto office, launches Canadian finance platform with local cards and tax automation

Ramp has launched its finance platform in Canada and opened a Toronto office. Ramp launches stablecoin accounts for all businesses, settling on Solana

Ramp has opened stablecoin accounts to all customers, allowing businesses to hold, send, and receive both traditional dollars and stablecoins like USDC and USDT on a single platform. The service integrates stablecoin payments into existing workflows for cards, bills, and accounting, eliminating the need for separate wallets and manual reconciliation. Businesses can hold stablecoin balances, earn rewards, and pay vendors or employees directly from stablecoin or checking accounts. Transactions sync automatically with accounting systems. Stablecoin deposits are supported across seven blockchain networks, including Solana, chosen for its speed and low transaction costs. More than 150 businesses adopted the service during beta testing.
